“My husband and I went with my mother in law and sisters in law, we made a quick stop to eat in calhoun (we’re not from there ) the food was amazing ! My husband had ordered a cocktail and my mother in law a beer. Most of the table had gotten their food before the nopal especial came out , and then mine was brought out by the manager. Once I was cutting into my food the server came over and made us aware the manager asked if they checked my id since my husbands drink was on his right side and I happened to be sitting there beside him on the booth. The server then asked if he can move it to his left side. I myself am a server and I know there’s no specific rule where a person can place their drink. Witnessing them drink it I understand but the only thing that can be told is they’re cut off and won’t serve them any more drinks. As we continued to eat the same manager kept passing our table and kept looking at the table making everyone uncomfortable. We went to go eat not to be stared at the whole time. He kept going around the table beside us asking if everything was good but never ours. Shows how unprofessional he is. Keep in mind when you come here you apparently can’t put your drink wherever you want on the table.”

“One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough about this place. The ambience was absolute perfection, from the exposed brick walls to the upstairs seating and bar. The lighting was set perfectly. Our server was amazing , putting up with the many questions of my father in law, who is Italian and a former restaurant owner. (love that guy.) Even HE was impressed! We drove an hour from Ellijay to be here and it did not disappoint. Every one of our meals was just perfection. The desserts were SO good. I usually hate crème brule because it’s usually runny, but this had a thin, crisp skin that was absolutely delicious. I had the sea bass on a bed of grilled vegetables. It had the most delicious white cream sauce. I’d order it again in a heartbeat. My mother in law had chicken Alfredo and she raved about the white sauce (it may have been a Chardonnay sauce). My daughter and husband and both had the manicotti and it was amazing. My son had shrimp pesto and he absolutely loved it. He’s the picky one. The drinks were superb, the atmosphere was so enjoyable. This is a gem. If it were closer, we’d make it our place to go for every special occasion. I wish I’d gotten the ask the name of our waitress (served us around 5:30 on 8/30/25) but she was a doll. Super sweet, and everyone was.”

“I have ate here several times and it’s definitely one of the better restaurants in Calhoun. The food is always made fresh and good. The steak is never overcooked and they give you plenty of vegetables. Sometimes the food is a bit bland but usually it’s flavorful. I have ordered the white swan roll a few times and it’s always delicious.”

and I’ve had the same sandwich at a lot of different locations, and whatever they did was extra good and extra awesome.
I just added pickles extra mayonnaise. maybe it has ketchup on it or extra ketchup— It was so great.
Little messy because of my request with that much extra sauce, so don’t let it drip on you when you’re driving, but SOOO tasty that I want another one right now, even though I’m full.
The manager lady, her name may have been Emily and it was 4:06 AM on November 30, 2025, she was very accommodating. She also makes very good sweet tea!”

Our server was polite and attentive, but it took a while to be waited on at first. The table next to ours was seated after us but that party of four was served before us (they had a different server). They had their drinks before we were even acknowledged by our server. Aside from that initial wait, the rest of the experience was very good.”

“Well this restaurant has been a staple here in Calhoun for over 30 years. It is always great to support a local owned place.
The staff was very friendly and service wa great,
I had a chicken over rice lunch , I did ask for no celery but was informed the vegetables are pre mixed . I also asked about if they did there own potsticker or egg rolls but no they buy SYSCO. Probably the veg mix is from there too.
BUT the lunch was very goo and the Hot and Sour soup was fantastic !!!! I will be back this was my first visit.”

“I visited this place last night for an open mic night and was blown away at the talent that came out. I was greeted at the door!Awesome music, friendly and timely bartenders with good drink prices. The food was delicious and made fresh to order. The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming, my anxiety didn’t act up at all. I played guitar and sang, and everyone was very kind and allowed me to network with other artists there. I will be back for another open mic night soon!”

“When I went in there they were in a small rush. I ordered my drink and got it in no less than 8 minutes with several others while they were waiting, with only two girls working in the kiosk. One server in particular stuck out to me and I asked for her name, which was Ansley. She was friendly, respectful, and made small talk with me which I really appreciated as most people won’t try. Overall the drink was good, service was good, and everyone was very friendly!”

“This is like the holy grail of diner food. It is a grill cheese on top and bottom with at least a half pound burger with cheese in between. The burger is cooked to perfection and comes with any toppings you want. Also fries, onion rings or tater tots are offered. You can substitute any other vegetable on the menu as well. Place is awesome, reminds me of when people cared and really enjoyed you being there. A total home run or touchdown. Whatever you like.”

“I stopped by McDonald’s this week and it was probably the best experience I’ve had at any fast food restaurant the young man who took my order I believe his name is Daniel he was so kind and so patient made me feel so welcomed and appreciated. “Great food and drinks, always. Regardless of how crazy busy it stays; employees do their best to keep up. That’s even if their grill or else gets to stop working; the employees and staff try to keep a good flow. It is due to it the place staying busy that the food is good.”

“I stopped by this morning to have breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered 2 Krystal Sunrise sandwiches from the drive thru. In a few minutes I had two fresh cooked breakfast. The bun was fresh the sausage tasty with a hint of spice. The eggs were fresh cooked and the whole sandwich was hot.

I've never had a single problem with this restuarant in my life and I've been going to this one since I was a teenager. Oh, the chicken is good. I can say that.”
