“A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. So far, my favorites: the French toast, the avocado toast with egg, and I love their thin crust pizza. Drinks, coffee drinks, great service - all the things that make me happy!“

“Today my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Southern Star. We both had your food bar, and it was filled with healthy as well as good, old fashioned comfort food. My husband loves chicken and dressing, your special today, as well as cornbread, so I bought him a portion to go. When I got home, I warmed it up for him, and of course, he loved it too! I was glad that I grabbed some of your baked goods, and so far, we have devoured the HUGE ginger snap cookie!!! It takes me back…thank you all for being so kind and attentive, especially Donna and another sweet lady but I failed to get her name. Thank you all for this great experience!“

“Holy crap. We only came to Chattanooga for my daughter's graduation and stopped here for lunch because it was near the venue, but this place... BEST BURGERS I've ever eaten! The staff were all super friendly and they even made a delayed to-go order so I could take a fresh lunch back to my kiddo when she got out of her practice. The aesthetic of the place was wonderful and people from all walks of life gathered there as if they, too, knew about the magic in the food. 12/10 will absolutely come back on my next visit to Chattanooga.“

It's brightened the downtown scene for the past 40+ years...that's difficult to achieve in the Chattanooga market where the majority of new businesses are unsuccessful which causes them to shut their doors within their first 2 years of operation. CBC has powered through all the diversity to create a unique atmosphere which invites everyone to enjoy quality dinning while playing some pool or throwing darts. It also houses an array of fine cigars to smoke following your meal. It has 2 full service bars which allows you to choose which environment you prefer, downstairs has sports bar feel while upstairs has 12 pool tables with an on-demand jukebox to blast your favorite music. You need to check it out sometime“

“After several calls to Rock City Garden (no direct number to cafe), I wanted to check on this location for an anniversary lunch. I was given restaurant hours which included Monday’s. I was reluctantly transferred to cafe for other questions. Interestingly, the chef answered my call responding cafe was closed on Monday’s. Only light hor-d’oeuvre’s served on Monday’s which Rock City Gardens (how convenient when selling $50+ park passes) failed to disclose. The chef was strange up with help (5*’s); not so much with RCG’s. So Beware what’s lurking behind a phone call! Wish there was a way to Cafe 7 without going through a garden, particularly Rock City Garden.“

“We went there for our Anniversary dinner tonight. The food was exceptional. Our server Jonathan was very friendly, knowledgable about the menu. He was also great at making sure our dinner needs were met. All the staff checked on all guests also. I would highly recommend this restuarant.“

“The food is consistently good. However, that store needs a serious cleaning. Our table had a very large wet/ dirty floor, probably an area over 3 foot in diameter. This was at our feet! The credit card scanner was grungy and is desperate need of wiping it down away well. The waiter did a good job.“

Our server Mary was beyond amazing! She was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very fast with our order and made sure to check on us frequently. I overheard two staff members talking and it was one of the girls first weeks I think, and the other staff member was encouraging her which is always great to hear.
The reason I'm leaving four stars though, is because the manager on shift seemed to be under the influence and was talking about other staff members loud enough for us to hear. Not very professional in my opinion and doesn't set a welcoming environment for guest. You could his frustration with one area not being to his cleaning standards and how the waitress could finish sweeping the rest of the area.“

“Ordered tamales and didn't realize they would be twice the size of "normal". So I ended up with leftovers for lunch the next day. I got the pork mole ones. Packed with pork. Masa soft and yet firm at the same time. Not dry at all. Perfect. Literally only thing I'd change would be to ask for extra red sauce. I like the filling a bit more wet than these were. But not an actual complaint, just my personal preference. I will definitely be coming back for more & to try other menu items.“

“Atmosphere would be less if it could be....we frequent this location lately as my MIL has had multiple surgeries nearby.....and there's nothing else to say except that it is HOT ? INSIDE THE RESTAURANT....ITS MISERABLE AND that is really unfortunate because of the fact that the service and even the food has been above par especially for huddle house....but it makes trying to enjoy a meal impossible when you are sweating as soon as you sit down .....even the employees have commented that it's ridiculously hot ......“

“We come here quite often cuz I love their steak pasta, it’s always really good. Today we had Abbi for the first time as our sever and she was awesome! It’s always a hit or miss if we get rolls, even when we ask for them, but she made sure to bring us some and even offered another basket fresh out of the oven. She also checked on us a few times and was very friendly in general. Definitely had to leave a review this time cuz she was awesome!“

“My son and daughter in law and I ate at Hello Monty last night. The atmosphere was very nice and the host was great. Our waitress was outstanding. She took care of us the whole time we were there. The food was excellent. We had fish, rip eye and salmon. The rib eye and mashed potatoes was excellent vi would highly recommend eating here“
