“My husband took me to Olive Garden last night for my birthday because he knows I love to eat there. Wow was it delicious!!! Our server did such a wonderful job so I wanted to give her some recognition. Her name is A'Chelsea and I can't say enough good things about her. Im not exaggerating when I say from start to finish she did an outstanding job at takin care of us! We never had to ask for refills on our drinks, breadsticks, salad, soup, or even our to go boxes! She was so sweet that we wanted to speak to the manager and let him know what a fantastic job she was doing. His name was Jonas and he was very nice as well. He was very attentive and spoke highly of all of his employees and said how important it was that they treated all of the customers there with courtesy. He was very happy to hear that we loved the food and the service that A'Chelsea gave us. We will definitely ask for her when we go back!“

“The ramen was delicious. We will definitely come back and try something different on the menu, but for the first visit, the ramen was on point and didn’t disappoint. The server was very kind and prompt. The seating is a little difficult for me as I have some physical limitations. Uncomfortable at best. Don’t let that deter anyone from trying the place out. I will be back for the food for sure.

Second visit to Red 8 Kitchen and it did not disappoint. Edy and Sae are the servers and they are prompt and awesome people. I ordered General Tsos Chicken. It was awesome. The portions are more than generous. If you’re ever in the Columbus Ga area and want good ramen or good food and service, Red 8 Kitchen is where you want to go.“

“Having lived in Thailand for 20 years I generally have learned to stay away from Thai restaurants.
Produce in Thailand is generally free of all the chemicals, as opposed to the US where most food has all sorts of GMO and highly processed ingredients.
And most westerners have some odd ideas about Thai food.
As in Pad Thai, as a NOT a spicy dish
But I took a chance and tried the Pad Thai.
Which was okay, but little resembled the Pad Thai I know, but, other than being an American sized portion, was okay.
The highlight of the visit was the Thai staff. We must have nattered on in Thai for at least 20 minutes. Talking about places and food we had in common. The young man, from Korat had the easiest time with my dialect.

“Great food and a good atmosphere. The birria is my favorite so far. I've only had to wait for a table during dinner hours in the weekend. Definitely not the cheapest food, but quality. My only concern is in the women's restrooms...I usually lock it then press the door handle to make sure its locked. These handles unlock when you move the handle or they don't actually lock.“

“I had a really low blood sugar. It was 49 and I felt like I was going to pass out. Trying to act quickly I placed a very out order for a sprite. I felt awful. When I got there I didn’t see it and wondered if I had placed it for the wrong place. The staff, Josh who I believe was a manager, quickly responded. He too is a type 1 juvenile diabetic and understood my urgency. He quickly got me what I needed. Alllowed me to sit down and recover and even checked on me bringing me a cookie. He treated me with so much kindness and compassion and I wasn’t the most pleasant customer because I felt so bad. His professionalism and willingness to help me meant so much. I commend his ability to recognize my distress, remain calm and help me without any delay.“

“I fell in love with Newks years ago when I moved to Birmingham from NY and they had my favorite salad, the Triple Take. When we moved to south Florida I didn’t have a Newks near me (so sad). We came for my sons graduation and we found Newks (cue the angels singing). Anyway, I asked for my favorite salad and they no longer have it on the menu (gasp!). Well the staff was so accommodating and I got my salad. It was amazing and the staff was so kind. I will 💯 be back. Thanks Newks staff! Also, Newks, bring back the Triple Take!“
