“I don’t typically complain or write reviews on businesses, but I specifically wanted to give the manager , Rachel, a 5 start review for
The way she handled my issues and concerns.
I’ve been ordering door dash from them for years now and every time I place the order I have to order brown sugar Boba because they do not have taro boba listed on their door dash menu but it is indeed something they carry. It’s usually a whole thing when I have to order because I have to order under brown Boba and put in the note that it’s meant to be Toro and then I have to look up their number and call them to catch them before they make it to let them know that it’s supposed to be Taro. This time when I went to look their number up to call them I clicked on their Google site and they have no phone number listed at All so I had to call the. Johns Creek location to get their phone number and called them right away just to be told that they already made the brown sugar Boba and there was nothing they could do. You could understand how frustrating this was for me Considering this was an $80 order. I asked to speak with the manager and that’s when Rachel got on the phone and handled everything for me. She was super polite, patient and professional.
I have brought this to their attention numerous times that the specific item is still not updated on their DoorDash menu and they have insured me that they would be updating this but every time I order it’s never updated, which is not what I have the issue with that’s why I didn’t mind going through the extra steps to correct the order. The issue I had was being told over the phone that they already made them and there’s nothing they can do. Thankfully they have an amazing person managing the business bc she handled it flawlessly and did mention that she has told the co owner about these concerns in the past with no update so I place no blame on her. Thank you Rachel for all your help and being awesome!“

“Worth the quick trip outside of Helen. This brewery has a nice chill atmosphere and decent seating up at the bar with a wide selection of beers on tap that should interest even the selective palette. I enjoyed their many selections of pilseners and lagers with a favorite for their dunkel.

Service was friendly and engaging. No food here but there was a food truck (make sure you check on the days)

Again, don't miss this place if you're staying in or around Helen, it's worth the stop“

“This is a gem! It's in the side of the church activity center. It's soo cute inside and very comfortable. It looks like a log cabin. The food was great and the prices were great as well! Service was wonderful and personal. Nothing religious, it's just a coffee and food shop and it was so fun to be there. I wish it was closer, but we will go back when we are in the area again!“

“I have been dining with Village Italian for a few years now and they never disappoint! the staff is super friendly and the vibe is upbeat. They also do a lot of local sponsoring which is great for the family feel and honest presence. The food is phenomenal, the place is gorgeous! Highly recommend this for a great experience and delicious food! We will keep coming back.“

“The pizza and wings are great! The service is terrible! Order take out only! We went last week and our order came out wrong multiple times after waiting over 45 min to get it. The server rarely came to the table so we had to get up and ask for plates, silverware and refills. We watched food just sit in the windows for over 20 minutes. We were there for 2 hrs with kids and left with our food in to go boxes.“

“As a person with a bad gluten sensitivity that I am still very much learning to navigate, I have to be very careful and ask plenty of questions whenever I go somewhere new. The responses I get are quite varied from place to place, sometimes knowledgeable while other times completely clueless to the point of being rude.

If we were treated the same way as I was at this place everywhere else we went, those of us with a gluten issue would find eating out a much more pleasurable event!

The waitress answered our questions quickly and with very apparent knowledge of the subject, and the chef himself even came out to speak with us after our order was placed. He was very knowledgeable on cross contamination and the steps required to reduce the risk as much as possible in a kitchen that serves both options. I realize that a personal chef visit can’t happen every time, but it was certainly a neat surprise that helped further set my mind at ease.

The food was amazing, and the service was great as well. The staff all seemed very well informed on how to handle the gluten questions that we had. The atmosphere and building itself were impressive. They have a large dog friendly patio with covered seating options that has both fans and heaters, and we saw a waitress bring out a water bowl for a dog that came in with some other customers. We left wishing we had more places like this back home. We will definitely visit again whenever we’re in town!“

“Ohhhhh, the service here is top tier! My family stopped in to try the chicken salad! We were offered a sample of the Barbie-Q chicken salad which helped with making a decision on what flavor to purchase! The host was so accommodating and nice! The chicken salad was so good that I bought another one called the Sassy Scotty for tomorrow’s lunch! Also, the strawberry lemonade is the best I’ve had in a looooong time! We loved the decor and funny little signs; everything was so charming!“

“The food here is delicious. Our server Tiffany was delightful, professional and attentive. We had two issues- if you swap a side, they do not reduce the price of the orher side by the value of the first. I wanted brussel sprouts and no fries. They were going to upcharge me the full $8.00 even though I wasn’t getting the fries. And then the bill came and there is a Convenience charge of 4% added automatically and there is no indication what it is for. The manager, Denise, explained that it is to cover credit card charges and she removes it if you pay cash. Nowhere did it clearly state that. Oh and by the way- they no longer so the two appetizers for the price of one on Fridays. Will have to think about returning.“

“We went to Ichiban in Cumming on Sunday 7/6/25 with 8 people for a birthday celebration. CARMELLO was our chef and he was absolutely wonderful! He was engaging, funny, skilled and professional. He cooked our steaks to perfection and served our meal in a fun, organized manner. He made our experience a great one and we will definitely be back for our next celebration!“

“Being a regular at the Sandy springs branch , we were not very sure if the Cumming branch would be similar. We stopped at Bawarchi Biryani , and ordered Paneer Butter Masala , Dal Tadka , Butter Roti and Garlic Nan Their paneer butter masala was outstanding , better than many restaurants around in Cumming . The ambience was simple , and we noticed that there were lot many takeaways compared to Dine-ins We will definitely visit again !!“
