“I went this place for the first time last thursday, ordered Brown sugar boba tea and fried tofu, my favorite asian treat sesame balls.

L size drink was gigantic and the brown sugar flavor was strong; however, the boba pearls weren't so chewy but rather soft and melty. The tofu was flavorful & crunchy, and the sesame balls were great as usual.

Overall, I liked it and intend to return.“

“This place is very cozy and the cashier was so nice! The banh mis are made fresh so it does take a little longer but it’s so worth it. Everything is well balanced. Bread was fluffy and crunchy. The Vietnamese sauce compliments the juicy crispy wings. No dipping sauce needed for their wings. The grilled pork banh mi - get the pate added and it’ll set it off. The pork was tender and smoky. They have sugarcane juice which was the best refreshing drink for a hot summer day. It’s a modern Vietnamese fusion spot that actually does it right. It still tastes Vietnamese but in a different way. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend!!“

“I planned to get a drink next door, but they weren’t open yet so I decided to try this place instead. The decorations are pretty cool, and I like that they have extra space in the back if you want to hang out.

I ordered the mango pomelo with 50% sugar, and it was good. The only thing I didn’t care for was the cheese foam, and I wish there was an option to leave it out.

Overall, it’s a nice spot with good drinks and quick service.“

“We visited Duluth from Arizona because my wife's family lives out here. We wanted to check out some breweries and let me tell you, this is one brewery you have to check out! Our bartender was Matthew, not only was he super friendly and welcoming, but he made our experience here so much fun! The whole staff was awesome to my wife and my mother in law. I had a flight of IPAs and the Master Of Chaos imperial IPA was hands down all of our favorite. The food is excellent. I have a few favorites that I always get which makes it hard to try new things, lol. But I highly recommend the chicken panini (with extra arugula), the Ahi Tuna salad and the Shrimp and Grits. Large meals so bring a big appetite! The deserts are good but too big for one person and not a wide variety offered. I feel like there should always be chocolate on the menu and here there is not :(
The only other slight issue I have is that the floor is a danger for anyone wearing heels or slick shoes. Not only that but I almost always sit at the bar and the stools slide easily across the floor which is annoying.“

Never had it before and otherwise didn't know where to go to try some that was worthwhile. We all got different drinks and each could try all the other drinks to really get an idea and I was impressed. Because of Maiko, now I crave some matcha once in a while. I love that because I always love experiencing new things and always having a variety of things and interests I can pick and choose from. From a first timer, I would say this cafe is worth the visit. The mix of various flavors sent me into an absolute spiral, and the reasonable price they offer makes it so worth it! Along with my pancakes, I got the matcha, and I have to say that it was the best matcha I’ve had in a while. This pastry deserves every bit of hype it has received. “This was my first time trying bingsu! I got the assorted fruit bingsu (~$17) along with a mango mousse (~$9). I thought the mango mousse was okay- it had a fresh mango filling and was surrounded with a sponge cake and cream. It was good, but not spectacular. I thought it was a bit overpriced and would recommend getting a slice of cake instead. The bingsu was super tasty with a milky, condensed milk flavor. However, the fruits were a bit frozen and I’d argue against getting it for people with sensitive teeth. I also ate the bingsu after eating the mango mousse so I was in a bit of a sugar haze and would suggest getting the bingsu only and with other people if bingsu is up your alley. The employee was very welcoming and the cafe was pretty chill and played background jazz/lounge music. There were people in the cafe talking on the phone and some other people studying, but in general was pretty quiet and not too crowded. I’d definitely recommend coming here at least once!“

“I do not recommend. I went in there for a quick oyster fix but was rudely halted by the snooty hostess on duty. She didn’t try to listen and all she wanted to convey was that there were not any tables available tonight. I didn’t want a table just a couple seats at the bar. I later found out the hostess name is Caroline. I suggest some better training for the Caroline. Hostesses are supposed to be welcoming but she was the opposite. I like yalls oysters but the service is hard to overcome.“
