About Shokku Bakery

Shokku Bakery is Metro Atlanta’s first Hokkaido style Japanese bakery, located inside the Jusgo Supermarket Food Court. The shop opened to the public as a bright and shiny new sweet spot, offering rare desserts such as charcoal croissants, matcha croissants, crystal mochi, melon pan, mont blanc, egg tart, pudding, curry pan, and strawberry shortcake (Japanese Christmas Cake). The bakery is run by the same owners as Fujissa, so the authenticity, quality, and innovation are the same, with exciting seasonal products.

Customers find the pastries neatly displayed in covered cases and fresh. The people who run the bakery are friendly, welcoming, and provide fantastic customer service. Many visitors have tried the Soft Cream Cheese Slice, Hokkaido Pineapple Bun, Pork Floss Hot Dog, pistachio croissant, and salted egg croissant. Some reviewers say the pistachio and salted egg croissants were not as classic as expected, but the mochi and egg tarts are praised as very good and unique.

The storefront is small and the pastries were sometimes not refined, and the prices can feel expensive. However, the Reserved Surprise Bag from Too Good To Go was a good deal, with every item tasting decent. Overall, Shokku Bakery offers beautifully crafted pastries and sweet treats that satisfy cravings and are worth visiting.

Delicious pastries! We had the red bean bun and it was soft and tasty. The salted caramel macchiato was great, not too sweet which I prefer. Highly recommend it!
This is my fourth time coming here and it never disappoints. Always quality pastries.
Great Japanese bakery with a wide variety of breads and pastries. The prices are reasonable, and everything tastes fresh and delicious. I also loved that they offer samples, which made it easy to try different items before buying. The milk bread is a little expensive, but it’s incredibly good and definitely worth it. I’ll definitely be back!
