“My family and I are visiting from Alabama! The fried okra didn’t make it out the park in lot my wife tried it and did a little dance. There staff was very friendly! The Turkey tips that we were given to try were fantastic! My wife and I ordered right at $100 worth of food. We were so excited, to try it all! “ WE DID LOL” We had the Greens, 10 out of 10! YOU MUST TRY!! The ribs were cooked to perfection! The fried chicken wings were fabulous! Okra, bbq beans, Mac Cheese, Banana whip, sweet pie! ALL THE THINGS WERE FINGER LICKING GOOD!! I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. Praying DAS opens on the southside of Atlanta. I will be your biggest raving fan!“

“First time customer but avid BBQ eater. I must say I was impressed with my order (4 meat platter- smoked wings, brisket, pulled chicken, baby back ribs), sweet tea, Mac n cheese, baked beans, cornbread, garlic bread, and banana pudding. I did a DoorDash order and when I got it was still warm. Unfortunately I got a visitor at the same time so I had to wait a few minutes to finally eat it and it had cooled off but I will say this- it was delicious even cool! The portions were very generous as well.

The wings were phenomenal! Easily some of the best wings I have had. Flavor throughout and not tough at all.

Ribs were juicy and literally pulled right off the meat with not meat left on the bone. The flavor was exactly what I expected.

Pulled chicken was flavorful but on the drier side (somewhat to be expected with chicken tbh), definitely my least favorite from everything I got.

The sliced brisket was juicy and the bark firm and full of flavor. The meat was also really good without the bark so well flavored throughout.

The garlic bread was good but the cornbread was hard as a rock and I didn’t even eat it.

The banana pudding was great as was the Mac n cheese and baked beans.

Would definitely recommend to anyone!“

“The food here is really good. The only thing I think would make them %100 is to perfect the Mac & cheese. It’s really dry & it has no cheese pull what so ever. It gives velveta shells Mac & cheese vibes. If that happens I’d be eating gear way more than I already do. Some of the best ribs & brisket I’ve had so far in ATL tho & the wait is never super long. Having done so, we continue to return to our favorite BQ restaurant Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ. Rodney Scott’s barbeque set the standard for not only Atlanta, but world-wide restaurants. R.S.W.H.B.B.Q is more than “exceptional”. The portion sizes are huge, the vegetables are well seasoned, the potato salad is kick your shoes off good. However, the pork ribs, boned in chicken, and brisket exceed the norm on taste and desirability. The BBQ meats are so delicious that you will find yourself eating first, second, third... “We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“I worked at the original location in the 80s(and a few sister locations) and they still have the best wings in the city without question. my personal favorite menu item, other than the wings, is the steak and cheese sandwich. I was saddened by hearing about the original location catching fire, but I am glad they rebounded.“

“I am changing my review from 2 stats to 5. And here’s why… I was frustrated. I tried to eat here 4 times and succeeded 0. They’re stupid busy. They run out of food. I was annoyed.

But I spoke to the owner by accident. Happened to bump into him outside the store while I was next door at Reformation for beer.

He is genuine. He is working hard. And he’s trying. He knows it’s frustrating and he’s tried to make every attempt to help solve the problem. But at the end of the day, he’s doing the best he can.

The food is stupid good. Straight up. It’s worth the wait if you can spare the time. And I appreciate his work effort and empathy. And of course, his masterful approach to bbq.
