“Ate at the Fayetteville location on the week of opening. We were excited to have them so close by, however, we did not have a great experience on opening week. I got 1/4 chicken plate. The chicken was much more bone than meat. Beans were bland. Variety of sauces is disappointing. Most southern BBQ restaurants have brunswick stew, which is a big reason for going there. I live only about a mile from the restaurant, however, I will not likely be going again.“

“I have been a customer here for over 15 years and this is the first time I have waited over 4 hours to get my food. I usually have to wait about an hour but this is a little crazy and now I need to rethink if I will ever do that again.
The food is good but that wait time was totally ridiculous.“

“I get takeout from This Is It at least twice a week. The food selections are varied & outstanding but we especially love the collards. The waitstaff is exceptional; always greeting me with a smile and even remembering what I usually order. I highly recommend This is It if one desires food that tastes like home cooked and service that is beyond compare.“

“I had the pleasure of eating some of the best barbecue in Atlanta. The rib tips with collard greens and mac and cheese was excellent. The smoked whole chicken wings with baked beans and potato salad was just as good. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis. Great job Miss Vera and team.“
