“We recently took our friends to spend an afternoon at Engelheim Vineyards. Everything was wonderful - nice wines, yummy British pies, charcuterie, beautiful scenery, and relaxing live music. The place is family owned and the owners are attentive and engaging. We went to see the wedding venue there and it is lovely! We highly recommend this vineyard in Ellijay!“

“We’re out of towners in Ellijay to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We almost ate someplace else because of some negative reviews about having to wait so long to get their food. We were seated immediately and our orders taken within 5 minutes. We had our food in 15-20 minutes. We’re glad we ignored the bad reviews and took a chance. Good food and plenty of it.“

“Asked in an Ellijay FB group for quick restaurants that would be good with a young kid. Someone said Mr P's and I'm glad they did. We went for breakfast this morning and split several things.
We got a bacon egg and cheese on sourdough (lightly toasted), chicken biscuit, a ham egg and cheese biscuit, and a cinnamon roll (so sofffffffft).
Everything seemed homemade. I saw another review on here say that everything was frozen and I disagree. I mean, of course corn nuggets and tater tots and things like that are probably frozen, but what we had this morning was GREAT.
We are going back tomorrow for lunch!
There are no tables inside, but there's a bench to sit on while waiting. A few tables outside, good prices, and quick service. It's great for what it is!! 🌟“

“We had an excellent experience here from start to finish. The margarita selection was impressive, with plenty of great options to choose from. Service was prompt and attentive without feeling rushed, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Our food arrived hot and fresh, and the flavors did not disappoint. The salsa was outstanding—fresh and flavorful. The steak in the street tacos was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned just right. This place clearly cares about quality and consistency. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!“

“We were heading home from Blue Ridge, GA and wanted a local breakfast. Our daughter found you online and we are so glad she did. We had french toast, bacon, eggs, grits, egg bake with gravy and of course pancakes. Our granddaughter loves pancakes and you can tell she’s happy! ? It was all delicious! We also enjoyed the couple playing and singing. What a great way to end our vacation.“

“There are 4 of us that travel together and we are always trying different restaurants. This is the first time all of us were extremely pleased with our food. My burger was the best I've ever had! I tried tasting just the meat, and omg I could have ate just the patty by itself it was so flavorful and juicy!“

“Made a quick stop and tried a flight of their wines. Staff was friendly. Love the atmosphere. Was a very cold day and sitting by the fire was relaxing.
Tried a sampling of whites wines. I’m not a big wine person so take this with a grain of salt… they tasted great but were all on the sweet side.
Definitely worth stopping in and checking Cartecay out.“
