“It was my first time being here. My fiancée recommended this place (he's been here once before) saying its really good, just a bit pricey which I dont mind. Our bill was $87, but got enough food for ourselves and had enough to share with a roomate and still had leftovers.

The experience from beginning to end: Got there and it was busy with sit-ins. For takeout, we were told it would be a while before we would be able to place an order (cant remember the exact time but it really was a while). More people came in, both for sitting in and taking out. After waiting for a long time, we finally got to order, waited longer for the food and then finally got our food and left. For my first experience, I wasn't too thrilled with how long we waited, but at the same time I didnt mind because I really wanted to try the food. I also noticed the lady and the guy that was busting their asses off with a small on their face even when faced with the stress of a super busy house. Yall freaking rocked it and thats really why I give this 5 stars all across. The staff deserves that cause I would've buckled under pressure. I also wanted to tell the lady that I liked her pins that were on her apron, but I didnt get the chance to. I hope she sees this. Again, yall kicked butt and the food was great!”

“I will start in reverse. The food, cocktails and appetizers were delicious. The waiter and bar staff " Top Shelf". The cleanliness and restaurant theme decor, on point. Now, this is where I have a problem. Ive eaten at restaurants all over the world, I have adhered to many dress codes. A 600.00 Cowboy hat is part of a look that is acceptable in many fine dining restaurants all over the Country. To embarrass someone and tell someone to remove a hat, due to a poorly posted " No hat Policy " is ridiculous. Its not like a ratty, sweat band crusted Masters Baseball cap or similar. This is why I'll take our 300.00 + dollar dining elsewhere, not for lack of food but character.”

“Although I was looking for It's Just Wings, it was actually Chili's. I order the new garlic wings and they were so delicious. I love the dripping of the sauce....I would definitely order these wings against. The wings are a nice size as well.”

“We chose this Applebees for the rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding. It was relatively close to the venue, and our son picked it out. To be honest, we were a bit skeptical at first but from the first phone call we knew we had made the right choice. The manager Alyssa was beyond amazing in working with us the day before to make sure that the guests had appetizers waiting and rapid beverage service. Our server Chris managed the party of 25 with ease and the kitchen was able to bring out hot entrees for all guests at the same time. They even moved tables so that we could decorate and worked with our decorations to make it an elegant evening. I cannot say enough about the customer service. They even kept the hat I left by accident! The price point was just icing on the cake. The pictures show how we used the space.”

“This is gotta be one of my favorite southern food joints since moving here. The food is really really amazing the fried pork chops or something. I definitely recommend the peach cobbler is also very delicious. The staff is really really friendly. The restaurant is really really clean inside and outside. I definitely recommend Goolsby’s for anyone coming in the area. Trust me, you will not regret it.”

“Wife Savers recently catered an event for St Alban’s Episcopal Church. I was very pleased with the service from first contact with the staff to the actual delivery and set up of the food. The food was delivered hot and it was delicious. The guests were very complimentary of all of the dishes especially the mac and cheese. The amount of food was generous and reasonably priced. I would use them for catering again for good service and food and no hassle.”

“These are the best wings in Columbia County, and probably Augusta. They have a wide variety of flavors, all of which hit the spot. My go to's are Lemon Pepper Wet and Spicy Blue Cheese. I also opt for the fried rice as a side, because it is much more filling than the fries. The staff is always friendly, the fruit punch is always top notch, and the wings. here continue to bring me back. Keep it up!”

“Only recommendation options are yes or no, but my review is more of a “kinda”. ~~~~~~~~ ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS CAKES, but some product descriptions on website are misleading or inaccurate. With that said… *BUYER BEWARE!* *Don’t splurge for the fancy candles* *Theres NO WAY the 10” serves 18* ~~~~~~~~ 1st time ordering, but have had their bundtinis in the past. So, I knew exactly what I wanted for my own birthday; the white-chocolate raspberry bundt cake. ~~~~~~~~ I wanted an actual cake. My options were the 8” that *serves 8* or the 10” that *serves 18* (serving #s from website, $10 difference) Wasn’t sure of the # of guests attending b/c this was a casual dinner at my dad’s house, RSVPs weren’t a thing. Figured it was better to have too much than not enough so I got the 10. 5 guests finished half the cake. We didn’t have huge servings either, maybe 2” slices each. ~~~~~~~~ BIGGEST let down was their “TOPS Malibu Sparkler Candles” at $4.50 each (for the smaller size). I purchased 2 star shaped, a #4 and a #0. Four candles, $18. On the website they are described as: “TOPS Malibu Sparkler Candles…add the finishing touch to any Bundt Cake...From the first flicker to the final wish, our candles transform your cake into a memorable centerpiece…Sparkler candles burn clean and leave no black smoke or residue behind.” My dad and one of my brothers each attempted to light the candles. Nothing happened. Then, after about 15 seconds of a regular lighter being held to one spot, the spot turned black. No signs of any kind of spark or flame. My dad decided to look at the packaging they came in. On the back, it says, “May take up to 50 seconds to ignite using a *BUTANE* lighter”. (This info is NOT on the website. No one said anything when I placed my order over the phone or when I picked up in person). Total bust. ~~~~~~~~ In summary, the cakes are fabulous, but ask lots of questions before you order, especially about the decorations/extras/add-ons.”

“Mi Rancho in Evans is my favorite Mexican restaurant (period). I travel from Hephzibah to Evans to get take-out, I know there are closer Mi Rancho restaurants but I like the Evans location. My food is always made to order, the customer service is always on point, and I love the atmosphere. Years ago my daughter had rehearsal with the Augusta Players Jr. at Greenbrier high school, instead of sitting through her rehearsal I had dinner at Mi Rancho, I’ve been comeback to this location for great Mexican food every since. Call me a creature of habit, ok. But, I know what’s good and I know what I like. Oh, by the way I did double to Mi Rancho’s for my daughter a entree to go. Maybe I’ll see you there.”

“I ordered for the first time today through DoorDash. It was a bit later jn the day and they were out of 2 of the cupcakes I had requested. Instead of just canceling them the sweet lady (I didn’t get her name) took time to call me to let me know and offered me to replace or just get a refund. Of course I picked replace and I’m glad I did. These are some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. The chocolate cream is so good. I will definitely order again 😊”

Everytime I come here it was always a blessing and a great time being there, recently when I came here, there was this really nice waitress named Lauren who’s extremely kind and courage and just a really sweet lady. The food is really solid and great as always, the people working there are really nice and really cool, the music that was playing is so solid, and the place is just reminds me of the time in the 50s where people used the diner as a hangout area to eat and just hangout after school. It's one of our favorite places to eat, with great portion sizes and absolutely delicious food. Absolutely no reason to eat at a fast food chain when you can get delicious healthy(er) meals at a good price. When we finally made it to the counter, my baby ordered and we waited. When her order was ready (which was quick) I went to get my drink NO ICE and NO COCA COLA! Which I didn't mind, it was pretty packed. The young lady was changing the syrup but she had to do 6 packs. I had a parade to go to. I called a gentleman (named John) whom I could’ve sworn was the manager over to my table to thank him for being very professional and polite to my wife and daughters. He informed me that he wasn’t the manager, was regular staff and was just happy to be doing his job. Shortly after, a different employee who was cleaning tables stopped by ours to see if there was anything she could get us. Definitely not the norm for any ‘fast food’ restaurant. If you’re in the mood for Diablo’s, go to the one in Mullins Colony in Evans!”

“We visited the Cracker Barrel in Evans Ga and our experience was exceptional. The food was hot and prepared well as one would expect. The best part however was the attitude and consideration of our server, Madeline. It was clear from the beginning that she cared about our experience and was attentive to every detail. I so appreciate someone who works so hard to be the best representation of themselves no matter what they are doing. Cracker Barrel, Evans Ga, should consider themselves blessed to have such a conscientious server as they do in Madeline. If there was a fifth star, she would certainly deserve it!”

I left a valuable item on the table that was under my napkin. The guy busing tables found it and turned it in to the bartender knowing that I would most likely be back for it.
