“This was a great ending to our short weekend in Atlanta. We made a reservation with RedEye Southern Kitchen to be close to the airport for out flight home that night. It was wonderful The staff was amazing and kind. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I was so appreciative that our waitress, Tish, asked if I wanted to place the kids' orders in first. We did and they got to start munching while we enjoyed a drink. My cocktail that the Tish suggested had a peach flavor to it and was not to sweet or overpowering! It was delicious! The food was amazing. The three adults order the sliders trio, the ribeye, and the Coca-Cola short ribs. Cooked to perfection. Each of us enjoyed out meals. Even the kids who both ordered chicken tenders! The enders were real chicken and lightly breaded which I love. It did not come from a frozen bag to be heated up. The atmosphere was nice. The decor is dark, sleek, and modern. It is in the open of the hotel and a bit loud but it added some excitement to the dinner. We were not guests of the hotel but treated just the same!“

“My family and I are visiting from Alabama! The fried okra didn’t make it out the park in lot my wife tried it and did a little dance. There staff was very friendly! The Turkey tips that we were given to try were fantastic! My wife and I ordered right at $100 worth of food. We were so excited, to try it all! “ WE DID LOL” We had the Greens, 10 out of 10! YOU MUST TRY!! The ribs were cooked to perfection! The fried chicken wings were fabulous! Okra, bbq beans, Mac Cheese, Banana whip, sweet pie! ALL THE THINGS WERE FINGER LICKING GOOD!! “I could write an article on DAS but I have to keep it brief. I understand how to create irresistible atmospheres, hospitable service and consider myself a foodie as I intermittent fast daily and eat once a day. My meals are important. I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. Praying DAS opens on the southside of Atlanta. I will be your biggest raving fan!“

“First time customer but avid BBQ eater. I must say I was impressed with my order (4 meat platter- smoked wings, brisket, pulled chicken, baby back ribs), sweet tea, Mac n cheese, baked beans, cornbread, garlic bread, and banana pudding. I did a DoorDash order and when I got it was still warm. Unfortunately I got a visitor at the same time so I had to wait a few minutes to finally eat it and it had cooled off but I will say this- it was delicious even cool! The portions were very generous as well.

The wings were phenomenal! Easily some of the best wings I have had. Flavor throughout and not tough at all.

Ribs were juicy and literally pulled right off the meat with not meat left on the bone. The flavor was exactly what I expected.

Pulled chicken was flavorful but on the drier side (somewhat to be expected with chicken tbh), definitely my least favorite from everything I got.

The sliced brisket was juicy and the bark firm and full of flavor. The meat was also really good without the bark so well flavored throughout.

The garlic bread was good but the cornbread was hard as a rock and I didn’t even eat it.

The banana pudding was great as was the Mac n cheese and baked beans.

Would definitely recommend to anyone!“

Having done so, we continue to return to our favorite BQ restaurant Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ. Rodney Scott’s barbeque set the standard for not only Atlanta, but world-wide restaurants. R.S.W.H.B.B.Q is more than “exceptional”. The portion sizes are huge, the vegetables are well seasoned, the potato salad is kick your shoes off good. However, the pork ribs, boned in chicken, and brisket exceed the norm on taste and desirability. The BBQ meats are so delicious that you will find yourself eating first, second, third... “I had the beef brisket with Mac and cheese, collard greens and corn bread. This was probably one of the top 5 best Mac and cheese I had. The collard greens were a bit salty but I liked them. The corn bread was good but a bit dry. The bbq sauce was great I got hot and it wasn’t too spicy it was just right. I would definitely go here again. The prices are a bit pricey but it definitely was a good meal I can’t complain. I had a couple of shots at the bar while I waited for my food. They had a DJ in there it was really nice atmosphere.“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

The reason for the 4stars is because my very very very 1st x coming here I tried a gyro ? & wings. The gyro was DISGUSTING & COLD!! However, the wings were GOODT. Which is why i continued to come back for the wings. Now, every time i go i get wings only & they are literally ALWAYS fresh & fire !!! “I am changing my review from 2 stats to 5. And here’s why… I was frustrated. I tried to eat here 4 times and succeeded 0. They’re stupid busy. They run out of food. I was annoyed.

But I spoke to the owner by accident. Happened to bump into him outside the store while I was next door at Reformation for beer.

He is genuine. He is working hard. And he’s trying. He knows it’s frustrating and he’s tried to make every attempt to help solve the problem. But at the end of the day, he’s doing the best he can.

The food is stupid good. Straight up. It’s worth the wait if you can spare the time. And I appreciate his work effort and empathy. And of course, his masterful approach to bbq.
