I started coming here about a month ago, and at first I was a little skeptical. However, from my very first visit, Kevin made me feel incredibly welcome. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind.

Fireside Jamaican Restaurant offers phenomenal food with every item being delicious. Customers appreciate the kindness and love put into the cooking, making it the best spot on the southside. While the curry goat and oxtails plates are great, some improvements in food quality are needed, like avoiding burnt plantains. Despite minor issues like finding hair in the beans and rice, first-time visitors are impressed with the generous portions and plan to return for more. Recent reviews highlight the authenticity and freshness of the food, with many customers praising the fish soup and curry goat, saying they would definitely come back even from out of town. The restaurant also offers fair prices and large portions, making it a popular choice for those craving delicious Jamaican dishes.
