My usual porkchop dinner was pretty good. The collard greens were really what I had been craving, but unfortunately, they didn't taste the same. Their greens used to be my go-to when I didn't want to cook any. Hopefully, they will taste better next time.
Let me start off by saying I appreciate this restaurant for not overly salting and sugar use in food. I had some Mac n cheese corn bread and steamed mixed veggies. I also had the peach cobbler. The Mac was nice and moist, the cornbread was on point, the mixed veggies was tender all the way through, but that peach cobbler though man the crunchy crust and the cobbler itself was not too sweet. I love Roberts soul food!! I'm a Christian! so I love the faith based positive atmosphere from scripture up...I also love all the family pictures they have up!!! and the food is good...it doesn't get better than faith, family and food! :) come check them out!
