Derek the manager made sure to check on us, overall 10/10 experience!

“The service is excellent. One of my key metrics that I always look for and it's not too serious but it's important to me is how long does it take them to bring out the chips and salsa, these guys bring it out within seconds of you sitting down like nussan I've ever seen.

The service is top notch. The food is excellent. A very broad spectrum menu and you can taste the freshness and the professionalism in the ingredients in the cooking.

Absolutely putting these guys on my Google maps as a favorite and I intend to take my next date there to woo her over with my exquisite taste in restaurants. Perhaps it will lead to marriage? 🥰😁”

I attempted to make the reservation a little late so the only thing available was the outside patio which turned out to be a good spot. The weather outside was cold but the patio was nice and toasty. The noise level in the dining room was kinda glaring after the relative quiet on the patio.”

You may notice I have 2 stars on atmosphere thats because of all of the possibilities of people who may be there. I will not fault them for life being the way it is but let is service as a heads up. Loud people, rude people, polite people, quiet people, babies, toddlers and more all available to rub elbows with.”

“I love coming here for karaoke on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights! Jake, the host, is absolutely fantastic; he’s always smiling, courteous, and brings such a positive energy to the room—you can usually catch him on Saturday nights.
I also want to highlight the bar staff. Billy is a total rockstar and always takes great care of me. He wasn't in tonight, but I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan for the first time. He was great and handled the busy rush really well (he is also quite attractive, which admittedly made me a little shy when ordering!).
The only downside for me is the indoor smoking, as I’m not a big fan of the smoke. However, the incredible staff and entertainment almost make up for it. It's definitely a great local spot”

The hostess told us about the nominal cover charge and that they have table service for drinks. We sat down with a couple my wife knew and waited for a server. 15 minutes in and no server in sight? My wife goes to the bar to order and was told to wait for a server. OK, 10 minutes later here she comes. Takes our simple order and again we wait, and wait. 10 minutes later we are served. I don’t understand what would take so long. Every other venue at the square is very attentive. I would have spent $75-$100 on drinks but never got the chance. I’ll go back one more time but if it’s the same experience, never again.”

“I’ve ordered delivery food hundreds of times, and this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to go beyond an uber eats review. I am so delightfully surprised to have had a great meal delivered to me 23 minutes away. When the food arrived, it was in thoughtful packaging (is the bag patented?), still warm. Having a sore throat, I ordered the Jasmine green tea, hot & sour soup, and my fiancé ordered the spicy basil chicken, Mongolian beef, fried rice, and broccoli. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! How does that even happen, (especially with an order 10 minutes before close). The broccoli was firm and not overcooked, (nothing was). The jasmine tea was fantastic with beautiful jasmine flowers inside, a slightly sweet, but not saccharine flavor, and no weird aftertaste. It’s the best jasmine tea I’ve had in metro Atlanta, and I’m a tea enthusiast. The spicy basil chicken had a great kick to it & the Mongolian beef was perfectly cooked, not dry, but well saturated in an oniony sauce, but not overwhelming. All vegetable accompaniments in both dishes were cooked with care, and also appropriately sliced/cut. The hot & sour soup gave me life. It had a nice white pepper hint to it, without being overpowering. I loved this meal. I loved the packaging. I can’t wait to drive 20+ minutes to praise this business in person. Thank you for caring, and thank you for being reasonable in your pricing without sacrificing quality or serving size. I will order again, and that’s a promise.”

When you can’t decide between sweet or savory, the owner offers life advice… “life is short, eat dessert first.” I could not decide what sweet treat to get but the cashier recommended one of their cinnamon rolls as that is his favorite. They were also coming out fresh just past 8am, so how could I say no? There’s cranberry-something in the middle and it tastes as magical as Christmas morning is supposed to feel. When you walk in, it just feels like a homey, family atmosphere which progresses throughout the day as local people come in and are greeted with a loving familiarity. I believe the owner was going around greeting people personally and helping customers however he could, making me and others feel warm and welcome. That just makes the food even better, ya know? For savory, I went with a sausage, egg and cheese pie and the lamb curry pie. Chips on the side are crispy and delish. There’s malt on the table if that’s your style. Both came out very hot. The lamb curry was a perfect flavor like Australian shepherd’s pie. The dough/crust of both have a unique flavor: maybe a taste of Australia. I’ve never been but I imagine that’s what it is. Authentic! Yummy yummy yummy! I got an eclair to go for my dad that I know he’s going to love. Portions are great. Definitely a fair price…All that for $22. Leave a tip in the jar. I ordered the burrito and fresh start smoothie. First off, the smoothies CAN be made without sweetner, which is a huge plus for me. Second, the burrito was shockingly huge. Picture doesn't do it justice. It was half my face, hot, and fresh. And I demolished it. The mustard Luis makes is AWESOME! Even if you shy away from the the word 'curry', I urge you to try it! If you can put yellow, Dijon, or spicy mustard on it, you can put this mustard on it! I haven't had a chance to try the coffee yet, but my mouth was watering at the smell. Will be a frequent customer!

On the second day, today, I ordered three omelettes, along with other items. One of the omelettes ordered, called for mushrooms, the other two did not. The second two were supposed to be identical. For some reason, mushrooms were added to one of the other orders. However, I did not order mushrooms because I am allergic to them. Unfortunately, I tried to call three times, but only got a message stating “we’re not available now, please call again!” Other than this mishap, which could have been really bad had I not noticed the mushrooms and consumed them, everything else was good.”

The East Cobb CSC only messed up once in five years of regular visits and that was because of a computer crash.”

“The food at Tandoor Tavern was AMAZING! It was our first time there. Everything was very fresh, hot, and flavorful. We will definitely eat here again, and/or get takeout. My husband and I had different chicken dishes, and we also got the garlic naan. The prices were reasonable and I was happy I had leftovers so I could enjoy my meal again the next day. SO. GOOD! It would help, though, to have descriptions of the food on the menu. I have eaten Indian food before so I knew I liked it, but when you aren't familiar with the dishes, descriptions are very helpful. The server did make a recommendation to me and I loved what I got. Ok, now I want more just thinking about it. Eat here! It's yummy!”

“Noticed that the old bbq place / Pizza Hut on Piedmont & Sandy Plains had a refreshed look, so decided to stop in & see what was new. Really glad we did ! The owner (one oof the owners ?) Darrel, told us all about the changes since they took over last January and was super friendly & helpful with menu suggestions when I told him we hadn’t been in before. Fresh made sides, and tasty, tender ribs along with several sauces (not really needed, but a couple were really nice) - the Carolina Mustard and the Habenero ones in particular for me. We will be back again and/or ordering delivery soon !”
