“The Marietta Diner has earned its reputation, and after our visit it’s easy to see why.

We decided to try the homemade Southern fried chicken, and it was the right choice. The 4-piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes was generous enough for two of us to share comfortably. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the house hot honey sauce.

Don’t skip the matzo ball soup. It was flavorful, comforting, and one of the highlights of the meal. The fresh bread was another pleasant surprise—it rivals what many restaurants are known for and arrived warm with a soft interior.

The menu is enormous, so whether you’re craving breakfast, comfort food, seafood, steaks, sandwiches, or one of the incredible desserts on display, there’s something for everyone.

Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, even with the restaurant staying busy.

If you’re visiting Marietta or just looking for a classic diner experience with huge portions and an extensive menu, this is absolutely worth the stop. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of that menu.“

“I found this place on a random search. Had never heard of it. Never been there but when I first walked in the first thing I thought was God. I hope this food is good because I love the atmosphere. It was a to-go order but the bar set up was nice and the bartender was even nicer. The ambiance of the location is to die for I can only hope to assume have a formal sit down“

“Ummm YES! When you can’t decide between sweet or savory, the owner offers life advice… “life is short, eat dessert first.” I could not decide what sweet treat to get but the cashier recommended one of their cinnamon rolls as that is his favorite. They were also coming out fresh just past 8am, so how could I say no? There’s cranberry-something in the middle and it tastes as magical as Christmas morning is supposed to feel. When you walk in, it just feels like a homey, family atmosphere which progresses throughout the day as local people come in and are greeted with a loving familiarity. I believe the owner was going around greeting people personally and helping customers however he could, making me and others feel warm and welcome. That just makes the food even better, ya know? For savory, I went with a sausage, egg and cheese pie and the lamb curry pie. Chips on the side are crispy and delish. There’s malt on the table if that’s your style. Both came out very hot. The lamb curry was a perfect flavor like Australian shepherd’s pie. The dough/crust of both have a unique flavor: maybe a taste of Australia. I’ve never been but I imagine that’s what it is. Authentic! Yummy yummy yummy! I got an eclair to go for my dad that I know he’s going to love. Portions are great. Definitely a fair price…All that for $22. Leave a tip in the jar. “If you ever want to experience an adult cafeteria this is exactly what you want. Bringing all walks of life into an open concept dining experience with a huge variety of options for food. You may notice I have 2 stars on atmosphere thats because of all of the possibilities of people who may be there. I will not fault them for life being the way it is but let is service as a heads up. Loud people, rude people, polite people, quiet people, babies, toddlers and more all available to rub elbows with.“

“Very inclusive menu. Amazing waitress (Carinne) and speedy service Clean appealling and friendly ambiance 4 suggestions 1. You have lovely music playing but all I hear is your kitchen staff. There’s no sound barrier. I speak Spanish but I wasn’t particularly interested in the conversation they were having. 2. Everything I had was just slightly over salted, not to the point of distasteful or inedible but you can always add salt, you can’t take it away 3. My bowl was incredibly oily. I sent it back to be drained and it was still oily and I drained it again ! After I ate there were still 2 tablespoons of Oil at the bottom of my dish. I will be back because I need your special menu. I will specifically ask for no oil and sauce on the side so I can control the salt and fat. 4. You are not on “happy cow” or any other vegan websites I use. WHY???? I look for healthy , vegan friendly places everywhere I go. I used google search and I found you but you didn’t make it super easy for vegan people to get your name“

“I went to Chopped Creative Salad Co. in Marietta, Ga today with my staff and we had such a good experience.

First off, when we walked in, they really made us feel welcome—like they were actually happy to see us. That stood out to me. Especially since it was our first time.

Miya helped me with my bowl and she was so patient and kind. She really helped me decide between all the good, healthy options because everything looked so good. That made a big difference, especially for my first time.

I ended up trying one of the new spring salads and wow… it was SO good. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were perfectly blended, and you could tell she took her time making it. The bowl was put together with real care and attention to detail.

We sat outside on the back porch/patio and just had a really nice time overall. They have fans as well outside so that’s a nice touch for the heat this summer.

You can tell they take pride in what they do here. If you’re looking for something healthy but still actually tastes good and filling, this is definitely the spot.
