“We enjoy the Winder location for dinner and Sunday brunch and decided to try the Monroe location. We were looking forward to a nice evening out, but due to the service we won't be back to Monroe. The food was good, when we finally received it. We had a reservation and once we were seated, we waited 20 minutes for our server to come and greet us and ask for our drink order. No one came over until I went to the front counter to ask who our server was. The food arrived an hour after being seated. The atmosphere was loud and crowded. I much prefer the Winder location and we will only be going back there in the future.“

From the moment we sat down, Steven was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. He anticipated every need without us even having to ask and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit.

His knowledge of the menu was impressive—his recommendations were spot-on, and every detail was delivered with a smile and such positive energy that it made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. He managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive, striking the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism.

“Excellent little hiding gem!! We went for the first time the other day after reading google reviews and had to go back again today! So yummy and tasty and great prices for what you get. Service is fantastic!! Everyone was so nice and they were laughing which means happy employees which means better food. I got the crispy chicken salad both times(bc it's awesomeness), and my husband had a burger(delish) and the Yard Bird(freaking amazing!!). If you haven't gone yet, DO IT!! YOU WILL THANK ME!!!“

“The food was fresh, hot and correct. The service overall was good. The staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was cozy yet different due to the type of building which actually added to the experience in a positive way. They even have a small sitting area outside with tables and an outside heater. Which would be an ideal spot to sit if you like to eat and watch cars and people shopping go by. :)The overall 4 stars is because the food is a bit pricy. But it is fresh and seasoned very well. Portion is on the smaller side but you still get a fairly decent amount.

Parking: We ended up parking down by Scoops (a block or 2 down) and walking to Broad Street Tavern.“

“Long Horns is a chain steak house that I visit from time to time. Although it seemed very busy with multiple groups of 12 or larger, there were several tables empty. This seemed like a staffing issue but that would only be a guess. I ordered the grilled Shrimp with Peppers as a main course even though it was a starter and French onion soup. Both turned out quite good. Our waiter was top notch. Sadly I can't remember his name. With the large crowds it was very noisy. Having a conversation with my associate was difficult at best. So, not the place I would recommend for an intimate dinner.“

“I do like Waffle House. But where do they get the idea that it's acceptable to bring the eggs, hash-browns and toast, but not the sausage until later? ITS NOT!!! We want our whole breakfast at the same time.“

Kid-friendliness: The server was very attentive to what we needed for my grandson. He is only 9 months old. We ordered him some grits and he did not like them. When she saw he didn't like them she brought him some fruit instead. We left her a very good tip“
