“The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!“

“Neighborhood church-run eatery. Soul food at it's best. Absolutely 💯 percent worth the drive out to S.W. Atlanta (they also have an in town location). Line service like a Picadilly. Muslim healthy fare like veggie plate is so filling. Have had that before.. Nonetheless less this time we just had to get the fried catfish. The portions are sizeable and the line servers are so nice and friendly. It's like your Grandma fixin' your plate at the stove. They do have a small outdoor patio too.“

“This was a step up from the typical hotel restaurant. Appetizer and main courses were very well prepared. Shandi was our waitress. She was professional and had a very friendly attitude and smile. The DJ playing in the lobby chose some great tunes that we enjoyed during dinner. I recommend this restaurant.“

“I have only eaten breakfast here, but it is always good and inexpensive. This more of a grab your food to go spot. Get the breakfast potatoes and the fried green tomatoes. The country steak is extra crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.“

“Seriously, one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. What a hidden gem. I’ve been on layovers here as a flight attendant, and I just love this place. But one of the best parts about Dining here are the employees. You are always greeted by a friendly hostess. One in particular is named Thuha - A friendly person from Vietnam. She’s been there for 20 years and she always make sure that people are taken care of. Her smile is award-winning!! I also had an issue tonight with a wrong order. Without hesitation, Thuha Took care of the issue. Also, I want to give a huge shout out to the manager, Jaden. He was so friendly, understanding, and took care of my order and corrected it!“

“Okay at first I was VERY skeptical. I came very late night so no one was there really, I had to call a number and place my order over the phone and send my payment via cashapp or Apple Pay. Now I waited 45 min as I was told and as the time went on I was like damn imagine…. BUT the food came. NOW this food yall was LEGIT HOME COOKED. “I Was Completely Blown Away At This Restaurant. I Was Sat By A Beautiful Host Which Turn Out To Be My Server. Renisha Was Very Knowledgeable About The Ga Craft Beers. She did an amazing job by explaining each item on the menu. I Gave Her The Opportunity Of Ordering My Food and Beer. Oh Boy She Did Not Disappoint. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! Renisha service was the best service I have had in years. My water cup was never low and if I had more time I would have had another beer. Renisha Was Very Patient With Me Even Though The Restaurant Was Very Busy. She is also a team player and is willing to pick up the slack from others. As A Restaurant Manager Please Give This Server Her Flowers, She Deserves it !“

“Apparently this is a new establishment. The staff seemed to be disorganized. The quality of a good server, having been one, is to always scan your tables. Your customers should never have to summon you. If they are not looking at their food or members of their party the server should immediately catch their eye to see if they need something. The servers passed near our table numerous times but did not check to see if we needed something. Otherwise they were very courteous. The food was excellent. It came fast. The ambiance was great. The location next to the Porche track was nice. We will definitely come back another time hoping the service is more efficient.“

“So while staying at this Hotel, I decided to try the restaurant. I sat at the bar where I meet the best bartender I ever came across. The restaurant was busy and she had the composure and aura of a Goddess.Her uniform up to her locs were very professional. Her smile made my day even better. Her name is Iris. Every restaurant needs a manager/owner like her.“

“I think that they have a personal vendetta with me. Every single time I order, I get two or more cranberry sauces. One already comes with it and I pay for an additional one. It never comes the way I pay for it even if I put it in the notes. This time I ordered a large lemonade and they gave me a small one. I don’t know what’s going on, but I have received the cranberry sauce being missing all the time and now I pay for a large lemonade and I got small one. You really need to get your act together because if I can find another soul food place on this side of town. I will start giving them my money. Maybe they want continuously mess up my order every single time for like the past five or six orders“

“It’s been a long time since we’ve had this nice of a meal and experience at a Cracker Barrel. It started with our server, Jayla. She was so kind, attentive and helpful with our choices. The food was EXCELLENT!!! I had the lemon pepper trout, with turnip greens and carrots. My husband ordered meatloaf, but they were out of it since it was kind of late so he got the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes w/ gravy and carrots. The biscuits were hot, buttery and not over cooked. The turnip greens were so good, I got a serving to take home. They honestly have spoiled us and shown us what Cracker Barrel should be at all locations. It’s definitely a high bar they have set. Looking forward to our next visit.“
