Been awhile since I had Krystal’s. Stopped here on a whim about 1:15pm on a weekday. Staff were very polite, food hot and fresh and served fast. Fries were awesome. Dining area was clean as well, great experience for me.
Something is different for sure from when I ate there as a kid. The burgers were a light gray color, didn't look like beef, the buns were soggy. The counter man was nice, just Krystals isn't the one 30 years ago I enjoyed. Probably my last in this life time of going to one.

I expected subpar food at nearly midnight, but what we did not expect was the strong odor of marijuana wafting out of the window. It was quite strong. When we took a drink from our cups the smell was clinging to the plastic lids, most likely transferred from the employee's hands.
