“If you are anywhere near Senoia, Georgia and looking for a place to eat, Borgo Italia should be at the top of your list. We arrived on a Saturday evening with five adults and two young children, completely forgetting that weekends typically require a reservation. After a long day of travel, we simply weren’t thinking about that detail. Understandably, our arrival without a reservation created a bit of a stir, but the owners were present and immediately stepped in to help. They coordinated with the waitstaff and made sure we had a table. It was the first great moment of the evening, and we had not even looked at a menu yet. Our server noticed right away that we had a two-year-old and a six-year-old with us, and she kindly asked if we wanted to place their order first. We took her up on that offer and ordered a single cheese pizza for them to share. This small but thoughtful gesture helped us avoid the all-too-familiar hungry-child meltdown. The pizza arrived just as the server returned to take the adults’ orders, and both kids happily devoured it. I tried a slice myself and can confirm it was delicious. Shortly after, they brought out both regular bread and gluten-free bread, and both were outstanding. The quality of even the simplest items on the table stood out. The entrées arrived shortly after and the presentation was beautiful. Each dish was plated with care, and the flavors matched the visual appeal. I ordered the Penne Al Quattro Formaggi, which was rich and flavorful without being overly heavy. A quick suggestion, save a bit of bread and dip it into the remaining sauce. The blend of parmesan, provolone, gorgonzola, and mozzarella with the bread was absolutely perfect. Overall, the service, the food, and the attention to detail made for an exceptional dining experience. I cannot overstate how grateful we were that the staff and owners went out of their way to accommodate us, especially given that we showed up without a reservation on one of their busiest nights. Thanks to their hospitality and the quality of the meal, this dinner will remain one of our favorite memories from our time in Senoia. We will absolutely return the next time we visit friends in the area. Thank you to everyone at Borgo Italia for a truly wonderful evening.”

These things are HUGE. Ive been to other places and been served tiny rolls for the same price. The stuff served here is massive and delicious.”

“Made a reservation with Open Table for 6pm. Seated right away and ordered by 6:15pm. Caprese salad appetizer arrived promptly. Entrees arrived 7:10pm. Mahi Mahi was very tasty. The Skillet Extravaganza was fantastic. We split it between two people as it was a lot of excellent food. Only knock was the lemon rice was very lemony. The painfully slow service was almost enough to ruin the entire meal.”

“We visit here with our family weekly. We sit in the non smoking side. It’s our kids favorite restaurant. The kids meals are a wonderful deal and the kids get ice cream sundaes with their meal! The amazing waitresses always give them quarters for the quarter machines too! The food is always good, service is fast, and the waitresses are so kind. As parents, we try to avoid going to restaurants where we have long waits so the kids won’t get bored and so we appreciate the attentive and speedy service here.”

“We went last night for both my daughters birthdays.. (11 and 5) we had a pretty big group, there were 13 of us but 6 were kids.. we had the most amazing server! She was extremely sweet, really went out her way to make sure we were completely happy along with serving other tables! She was extremely patient with all the kids and had a constant smile! Son ordered the Shrimp Teriykali Bento Box which came with miso soup, 4 California rolls, a side salad and white rice. He also ordered the Eel avocado cucumber rolls. Hubby ordered the Beef Teriykali Bento Box which came with mushroom soup, 4 california rolls, an egg roll and fried rice. For his drink he ordered a Pomegranate martini. I ordered the 3 sushi roll lunch. I got the Seafood Maki, the White Tuna and scallions, and the Christmas rolls. It came with miso soup and a garden salad. For my drink I ordered the Peach sangria. For dessert, we shared the 15 oversized donut holes with chocolate sauce. Everything was well made and very tasty. Our server was very attentive, checking on us several times.”

“I work for a local HVAC company and we do their AC work. Everytime I've been here the kitchen is spotless. (Alot of places I've been in I won't eat there due to how bad the kitchen is.) The managers and staff are very friendly. They have the best burgers with great healthy options as sides. They cook your order to your preference, I am completely comfortable ordering a Rare or Med-Rare burger from here. They are a exemplary example of great dining.”

“This is a 2 part review.
Part 1- The staff here is very friendly and pleasant. 4 stars for service. If drinks came out at the same time for a group, would give 5 stars.
Food availability is inconsistent. Went on a Saturday and all 5 of the items I would have ordered were not available. Still got coffee but had to grab breakfast at another establishment.
Part 2- Atmosphere- Gone are the comfortable seating options and partitions for more privacy that you usually find in a coffee house. Just one long area filled with tables and chairs. Probably a corporate decision since many of the Starbucks remodels look like this one. Not fair to the place I know but the atmosphere is not what it used to be to me because of the layout. No longer come here with a group of friends.”

The lunch specials were always a great deal for the amount of food on the plate and the fresh guac amazing! It’s family owned and run so you see the same folks each time and they remember you and always make you feel at home. Any food restrictions or accommodations…within reason…it is Mexican food…we have asked for were always able to be met. We continue to pop in there when we are that way. I gave the rating of a five star for the food but honestly I always get the fajitas and guacamole and deserts. If you are looking beyond that…my review may not help!”
