“A hidden gem for sure!! The food is the ABSOLUTE BEST SOUL FOOD I’ve had in ATLANTA! We enjoyed the salmon, lamb chops, greens, Mac & cheese, yams, and honey corn bread. The greens were PERFECT not requiring any condiments at all! The salmon and lamb cooked to perfection and the yams and Mac & cheese didn’t disappoint. Honestly it was all soooo good!! This is great for day or night date or with family/ friends. Our server, E, was attentive, friendly, and best of all informative on the food and drinks!! The music and atmosphere were a nice adult ambiance to enjoy laughs or even still chat with those you are enjoying your meal. A definite return and a definite must visit if you haven’t been yet! You’ll thank me later ☺️“
“Excellent southern buffet with all the staples. Food is actually seasoned not like the chain buffets. Very Mom and Pop which I prefer to chain restaurants.Greeted warmly at the door and wait staff are full of smiles and very pleasant to deal with. Most of all the food is fresh as well as great tasting.I highly recommend it and have taken several people with me to experience it.Decor maybe could use an upgrade but for the price and quality of the food, I can live without the atmosphere. Blue collar environment so don't expect white linens just great food and wonderful wait staff.“

“I got fried shrimp, collards and Mac and cheese. This was some of the best money I have ever spent on food!! Shrimp was huge, cooked perfectly, crispy corn batter SEASONED! Greens tender and full of flavor, mac n cheese like we want it made!! Absolutely delicious, It didn't last long enough for me take a picture...all I have left is utensils and juice from the greens. 10/10 recommend!!“

“My uncle visiting from out of town wanted soul food for dinner but didn't want to drive too far. This restaurant was nearby us with great reviews. The food did NOT disappoint, everything is cooked freshly, delicious and worth the wait. Magic Soul Food's staff was professional and friendly - the chef even stopped by our table before we left. My teenage daughter is a picky eater, she ate ALL of her entree and most of my sides. Looking forward to our next visit!“

“I think we can all agree that most people look at reviews of restaurants to see how bomb the food is going to be. However, If you are looking for a casual date night, dining in type of environment, this is not the place. The food on the other hand was magnificent!!! I love the efo riro soup the pounded yam, the jollof rice and the brisket was good although, it could have been a little less dry. I wanted to dine in, but didn't realize that they try and make it a "club/lounge" vibe. The music was way too loud for me. You cannot comfortably hold a conversation.THE PRICES!!! So, I don't have a problem paying for amazing food, however, $26 for a stew and pounded yam is a no for me.Not to mention their portions are so small. $9 for jollof rice, $16 for sliced brisket that was a handful!! They need to cut prices or double up on portions if they want more business. We also ordered a corona, ONE BEER= $7!!!!!!!!!!Overall, It was okay, I will go there for take-out if I am desperate to eat some good African food, but expect to pay a good bit!“
“I love this place, my family and I have been coming here to this place for over 10 years, even before they had the larger dining room. The food is excellent as most of their ingredients comes from their own farm. The staff are super nice people. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a quick, good breakfast spot.“

“Whoa! OMG! For the Love of GOD... These Tacos are really good! We just worked Doja Cat The Scarlet Tour here in Atlanta. Here it is 1:30am and my brother and I was about to head home to get something to eat. I forgot the Crew had catered lunch waiting in the back of State Farm Arena. My plate had the BBQ Tacos with cilantro lime rice with black eyed peas in them. That was great. I'm literally looking at my brother like"What you got". He had the Blackened Fish tacos with that same tasty rice. His eyes bucked big and I heard him say "uuuummmm". You know it's good at this point. I leaned over to get a sample of my brother plate and it was empty. Gone! Done! Finshed! I recommend and will find where to dine whenever I'm in Norcross.“
