“Barrio ATL is an entire VIBEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I ended up here on a Thursday. I was in the Cascade area and in the mood for tacos. After a search on Yelp Barrio ATL popped up and was where we headed for the night. As a heads up, Barrio ATL sits in the corner of the strip plaza. As such, the parking can be a bit tight so be sure to choose a space accordingly. Upon walking in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a trendy hookah lounge. Wall seating, chairs, and tables are to the left, and a VIP area style is to the right. The DJ is directly to the left of the VIP area and the bar area is to the left of the DJ. The building is medium-sized and build rectangular so there is ample length as compared to the width. There was no one at the Hostess booth when I walked in, however, the young lady got up from one of the tables in the back, greeted me, and quickly took us to our table. Once seated, the waitress assigned to our table came over and was super nice and welcoming. She introduced herself as Shay and went over the specials for the night. As the ambiance is more than just a casual bar, Shay’s service was superior. Her personality shined and she enhanced the overall experience of the night. Thank you, Shay! Based on the specials for the night I decided to go with the 3 Chicken Birriia Tacos for $9 (this was a great deal as they are usually $20) and a side of fries. As they didn’t have Sweet Tea on the menu I ordered a bottle of water. Shout out to Barrio ATL for serving Fiji. Ha. Babeeeeeeeeee… Here me when I tell you… I don’t know what kind of potatoes these fries were made with but they were the BOMBBBBBBBB. They were thick, perfectly fried, golden to perfection, and well seasoned. For the record, I would go back for the fries alone. LoL! The birria tacos were good as well. As this was my first time having them I don’t have anything to compare them to, however, I enjoyed the experience. The crunchiness of the taco shell with the well-seasoned chicken. The birria consomé was well seasoned and definitely enhanced the flavor of the taco, as such, for my first birria experience I enjoyed it. Furthermore, if the chicken was this good, I can’t wait to try the beef. Overall Barrio ATL is def one to add to the checklist when you are looking for a vibe. “My family and I are from Ohio and wanted some southern soul food. We located Zion Delight Southern Cuisine and to sum it up in one word: EXCELLENT!! We were greeted with big smiles and friendliness. Food was setup in a self-service manner. This gave everyone a chance to customize their meal with the wide variety of soul food. Everyone in my family said that their meal was great! They helped us plan our trip back to where we were staying in order to avoid ATL’s crazy highway traffic. My only complaint is that the size of their location is too small! “It was my first time and I got to say I really enjoyed it, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We took the ribs and chops and also tried the chicken wings and let me tell you the ribs were soft and cooked at perfect temperature. It was just amazing. They had a few side options to go with the mean like green beans and some eggplant stew which were nice. Best thing is it’s even halal so I’d totally recommend it. Two on the first visit and one this visit. Everything was delicious this time. The first visit I didn’t care for the dressing or the Lima beans. When I was in there this last time I overheard a more frequent customer talking to the person she was with saying that some of the food be a hit or miss. “My third time back and this place is always a go to when I come to Atlanta. Everything I've ever had here is great. The ox tail & fried catfish is absolutely phenomenal. You have to try both. The sides here are endless and all an A+. Our favorites were the collard greens & candied yams. The service is so vibrant and kind. “First impressions are Everything!! Visiting from Louisiana with a friend, we decided to try the College Park location. The greeter, with a very pleasant personality met us at the door and welcomed us in. The energy was high from the staff as well as inviting. We both decided on the Afta Church, tried the fried green tomatoes and added the bussin muffins. Beautiful presentation, deliciously prepared and from my own experience, the meal was intoxicating. I'm a salt sensitive person and I was pleasantly surprised the meal wasn't high in sodium.I don't eat out often but when I do, I want to enjoy it and I love when the meal and atmosphere leaves a lasting impression. “I tried this place out while on a trip to ATL & I'm really glad I stumbled upon it. I was looking for a diner and ended upside inside of a building that essentially was a whole bunch of food places in one. I got the Inferno Fried Rice and it genuinely lives up to its name. They ask you for your spice level when ordering, please do not underestimate the spice level! I ordered 'Hot Spicy' and I got hiccups after the first few bites. It's very flavorful and you get a lot of food. If you order fried tofu with the order it's free but I wanted to try the potstickers so there was an upcharge. They have options like vegan duck and vegan shrimp, will definitely have to try it out next time. My food came out around the 25/30 min mark, which honestly isn't too bad for a Sunday night event night (One Music Fest)“

I purchased the lunch special Meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and greens. The flavor in everything is good . Also tried the famous lemonade that comes in a variety of flavors to choose from. Sweet and good. I searched the address and it's located inside a Shells gas station. I ordered the rib tips,Mac and cheese and cabbage. The dinner also comes with two corn muffins.
