“Seafood here is much better than where I live. I actually have to travel 45 minutes just to come to Pooler for decent seafood. I will say the jumbo shrimp is questionable as far as size. The jumbo shrimps look nothing of jumbo. They look like regular sized shrimp. So that seems rather suspicious. Other than that, the seafood there is pretty good.“

“My husband and I have been here several times and love their spicy marinated pork, but last night we came here for my birthday for some pork belly “samgyeopsal” and it was excellent! Reminded me of how my mom serves it with perilla leaves, lettuce, gochujang, fresh garlic and jalapeños! The banchan were all delicious as well. Usually the place is very busy and I think is family owned and operated so sometimes you may have a little wait, but the food is worth the wait. While we were there last night we were the only customers, but the family kept busy with some deep cleaning under tables and scrubbing walls. The owner even took the time to come over and help cook the rest of our food so we could just enjoy eating our meal. You can tell the owners take pride in their establishment by the cleanliness of the restaurant, their service and quality of their food.“

“This was my first time at Bahama Bob’s. I thought it was a seafood restaurant, but they had a large variety of food options to select from on their menu. The atmosphere was more like a bar since they had pool tables, a bar area, and they allowed customers to sit anywhere of their choice. It was also hard for me to select something to eat because of the many items on their menu. Nonetheless I settled on their seafood gumbo. It was actually quite tasty and the portion size was also large. I also order their French fries and calamari as an appetizer. Overall my experience was good.“

“Amazing hidden gem in Pooler, GA. Authentic dim sum is hard to find in this area, and Etang Bistro truly delivers. The cucumber salad was packed with garlic and absolutely delicious. The chicken feet were excellent, the scallion pancake was perfectly crisp, and the hot oil wontons were outstanding.

The attention to detail really shows in every dish. Finished the meal with the cold noodles — amazing and refreshing. Highly recommend this spot. Friendly prices and great food.“
