“Phenomenal food. We are regulars and we love it here.
The ones who complain about the wait time just go to a fast food restaurant. Sushi Tong is a restaurant meaning you are going to wait more than 15 to 20 for food. The local Mickey D's and Wendy's are up the street (LOL) if you want the food given to you in a 60-90 second time span. If you do not have the patience for actual restaurant food do not come, if you have patience yes please check them out totally worth the wait :)“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“Classic Japanese restaurant. The fish quality is on par with the very expensive restaurants in town. This is just a no frills really solid sushi spot.
We typically order the fried octopus appetizer and 21 pieces of Sashimi. We get out the door for around $100.
I'd be willing to bet they have the same fish suppliers as Umai and Eight.
Service is generally quick and the service is good.“

“We loved this. I hope it becomes an Atlanta institution where we're still going here 20 years from now. This restaurant is a bit of a splurge or special occasion type place but totally worth it.
Our server Andrew was great. Everything we ate was delicious and the drinks were fabulous. It scored top points in all categories. My only complaint was that even though the restaurant wasn't full it is very loud in the space. As a coursed meal the pace was great and on the faster side, which I loved.
We both did the 8 course Omesake. My husband's favorite course was the final steak prepped with the cavier and garlic chip. I liked the steak with the egg yolk, ginger, chive the best. The Slider was perfection and a really fun way to end a meal. The only disappointment was the Lobster rice. It was a delicious dish with potential but a little dry and rubbery. I think this one needs work. The sashimi was so fresh and the accompinmets were awesome. Loved the starter trio, I could eat a million of the tacos. So many stars across this meal!
Based on all the bad/mediocre restaurants in Atlanta this is a standout and should go on your list.“

“Simply worth the drive and money. Since Covid my husband and I eat out very selectively. Most of the time restaurants are overcharging, understaffed, unclean and service is less than standard. They look at you crazy if you ask for hot food and clean utensils. Well at The Bowl all is well! The service is top notch from placing your order to the moment you leave. The food is savory, clean, made to order with perfection! I highly recommend this restaurant anytime of the day.“

“Recently renovated, Kumo is a gem! They are very helpful for gluten friendly options! They have gluten free soy sauce. It’s a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The food is fast and the presentation is good. They have great sushi! The 3VS3 roll is amazing. My husband and kids enjoy the hibachi. They don’t cook in front of you but we actually prefer that.“

“One of the BEST dining experiences I have had in a long time. My husband and I went last night for our 2nd anniversary and everything from the ambiance, service, food was AMAZING. Our server Coy / Koi (sorry if misspelled) was absolutely amazing and made great recommendations to us. He was incredibly attentive and made sure we got all of our food and drinks in a timely manner. We started with the Rock Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber & Seaweed Salad, and Yellowtail Appetizer. This was our first time trying yellowtail and it did not disappoint. The salad was also INSANE - so refreshing and bright! For mains, we had the Lobster Tempura Roll, New Age Roll (hubby’s fave), and Surf & Turf Roll (my fave). We finished with the “Donut Touch my Donut” and Matcha Icecream. The donut had a nice chewy / mochi-like bite with a crispy exterior. Cannot express enough how great everything was - totally worth every penny!“

“The food is absolutely amazing. I drive 30 minutes from my home in Marietta for this spot. Prices are extremely fair and the quality of the roles is by far some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely worth checking out. The chef and server are family and they make you feel right at home. The decor is a little outdated but they make up for it in service. Highly recommend.“

“Met a friend for lunch and it was a great experience. Fresh to order rolls, well done and generous sizing. The house salad alone was crisp, abundant and full of color which is not the norm. Dressing was a perfect amount. Ordered 3 rolls and they were executed well. Everything came out orderly and on time. Our server Carolina was wonderful and attentive. Aesthetic is top notch, surrounded by cherry blossoms and lanterns with ambient lighting. Insta worthy! Will definitely be back!“

“They have catered for 2 of my events and have always been super professional and very reasonably priced. If we are talking about the food, their food is by far some of the best hibachi I’ve had in Atlanta. Their sauces especially the Diablo sauce are amazing !!!! “Its a couple of Hibachi places by my home. But Miyako is one of my favorite hibachi ? restaurants they are always friendly, and the food is delicious, and they give you a lot of food,the prices are reasonable. I always save the rest for the next day at work. I can never eat it all, lol. So delicious & don't forget the yum yum sauce.“

“The sashimi piece on top of the nigiri is larger than most traditional sushi so it’s a happy place here. Service is good too. Only thing is the place is hidden and a little hard to find. It’s on the back side of a building down a steep parking lot hill.“
