The ones who complain about the wait time just go to a fast food restaurant. Sushi Tong is a restaurant meaning you are going to wait more than 15 to 20 for food. The local Mickey D's and Wendy's are up the street (LOL) if you want the food given to you in a 60-90 second time span. If you do not have the patience for actual restaurant food do not come, if you have patience yes please check them out totally worth the wait :)“

“We ate here after seeing Cirque du Soleil nearby with our two kids, 10 & 11. The restaurant was clean, and comfortably decorated. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“Simply worth the drive and money. Since Covid my husband and I eat out very selectively. Most of the time restaurants are overcharging, understaffed, unclean and service is less than standard. They look at you crazy if you ask for hot food and clean utensils. Well at The Bowl all is well! The service is top notch from placing your order to the moment you leave. “We love sushi and had eaten at all the nicest sushi restaurants in Atlanta except for this one, so we decided to try it. We had the premium omakase and it was AMAZING. This was both of our favorite experience - usually I prefer more fun and flavorful rolls (ie like Eight) and my husband likes his sushi more pared down (ie Tomo, Nobu, Mujo), but the sushi struck the perfect balance of letting the fish shine without being boring, adding a hint of flavor to enhance. I never eat wasabi but the wasabi relish was incredible - I put on every bite! John, our server, was professional and personable and made our dinner very special - great recs and accommodations! We usually dine out on special occasions (bdays, anniversaries) and it’s not uncommon for it to go unrecognized.. this was the opposite experience. Just a night out but it felt very special. We also loved the vibe- not stuffy or pretentious (some babies even which I don’t think is common but we didn’t care, they didn’t detract!) while maintaining high caliber of service and food. Overall, 10/10 and we will definitely be back. Our new favorite sushi restaurant!“

The food? Incredible. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and cooked right on the spot. You could see how much pride they put into what they do, from the quality of the ingredients to how beautifully everything was prepared. People are still talking about how good it was!

The team was amazing too. Professional, organized, and super fun. They handled such a big crowd with no problem at all and made sure everyone was taken care of. And the chefs didn’t just cook they put on a whole show. It turned dinner into an experience, which made our event even more special.

“Met a friend for lunch and it was a great experience. Fresh to order rolls, well done and generous sizing. The house salad alone was crisp, abundant and full of color which is not the norm. Dressing was a perfect amount. Ordered 3 rolls and they were executed well. Everything came out orderly and on time. Our server Carolina was wonderful and attentive. Aesthetic is top notch, surrounded by cherry blossoms and lanterns with ambient lighting. Insta worthy! Will definitely be back!“

“This is my second time here the first was excellent, husband and I sat at the bar. I decided to bring him back for his birthday as a dinner party of 14. My only issue was the waitress. She was kind of young and distracted a little too much side conversations and not remembering her task the birthday cake surprise never came out. I bought champagne, It's really bad bottle service. I did request some wine glasses opposed to plastic cups my group overall had a good time, but I if you're of class, you may need to direct the service from the beginning..“

“Mujō has exceeded expectations every time I’ve gone. I’ve now done the dinner seating and private room. It is such a calm and ‘good vibes’ environment to enjoy the amazing technical artistry and top tier fish. The staff makes sure every need is taken care of promptly. Personally, I like the bit of personality that the hip-hop infused playlist brings to the place. Feels like modern day meets traditional sushi. Exec Chef Trent Harris was our private dining chef and he was so easygoing and downright funny. He also gave us a small bonus course as we were celebrating our engagement.“

“First off, I'd like to state that this rating is in comparison to other Mom & Pop establishments and not Michelin star places. That'd be unfair to both parties involved.

With that said, I really enjoyed myself here. The staff were very attentive and expeditious! I received my order probably about 5 minutes after I ordered. Granted it was earlier in the day and not many patrons but I still believe they deserve the recognition for it. There were plenty of seating available even for a large party if you have one. The establishment was clean on the outside and inside. In addition, the bathroom was really clean and tidy as well.

I ordered Sashimi that came with 6 other rolls and gyoza shrimp. The shrimp were so hot I actually had to let them sit a while before eating, which is great for me compared to cold or lukewarm. The Sashimi and sushi were extremely fresh! You can see a pick of the chef area where they prepared it. The food was plated exceptionally well and was a pleasantly unexpected surprise.

This was a great experience!!! And the efficiency of the staff allowed me to eat my lunch and get back to work on time. I highly recommend it and would visit again.“

“This place is located in the Hub food court. It is connected to Hyatt Regency & Marriott Marquis through the Skywalk. We came every night of our stay & it was always fresh & the staff was great. The Dream Crab and Peachtree rolls were our fave! We also had the Dragon roll, miso soup & the sesame chicken. The price was about $10 per roll. It is amazing & prices are great!! Closes at 7pm! Must visit when in Atlanta!“

“I'm in a nursing home and once a month we coordinate a big takeout order with various places. We have used Okinawa Austell 3 times now, and everytime, without fail, they have given us delicious perfection! And their lunch prices are extremely affordable, even for us! We average 30 to 35 orders each time! Everything is always packaged so we can identify each order easily, and there have been ZERO mistakes or complaints. Zero complaints! Chase is always spectacular with his customer service and attention to detail. I wish i could remember the names of the other people whom ive interacted with. They were just as pleasant and helpful. I cant say enough about how much we love Okinawa Austell! Their Dallas Hwy location is also a gem. My sister and I used to go there at least once a month. It was our favorite sushi spot! It appears that Okinawa provides excellence no matter which location you go to! I would give more stars if I could!“

“9/2025- had to update this review, we have always loved this place but feel like it’s been going down hill a lot. Tonight we order delivery and the shrimp lomein was so fishy and gross and the sweet and sour chicken is usually white meat and this time it was mixed and just gross with so much sauce it was soggy. We will not be returning since we just threw out $50 in food ugh!

“I stop by HibachiMan every time I’m in the area. The Japanese-style hibachi, not your typical Chinese fried rice, along with their homemade secret sauces, is absolutely amazing. My kid even uses HibachiMan’s sauces on everything at home!“

Huge variety on their menu - plenty for the non-sushi lover too. But come for the special rolls...they are some of the most creative you'll see anywhere!“

“I like the poke here and get it once a month or so for lunch. The fish always tastes fresh and the sauces and toppings are flavorful. I get mine over salad greens and make sure the fish is tossed with at least soy sauce and sesame oil; can’t go wrong with poke ponzu and spicy mayo too. The seaweed salad is $2 extra but worth it in my opinion for that extra sesame flavor.“
