This is to the owner: you need to hire more staff. Quit being cheap. You need to do better and yes, you should be ridiculed. Even Jersey Mike’s, as dead as it was, had three employees. This is how you treat your staff? You don’t deserve good, hardworking people, and they should be paid really well.
