“They really put a lot of effort into making sure you're well taken care of over there. The food is excellent, a little pricey, but the portions are VERY generous, so I always feel like I'm getting my money's worth. The service is consistently top-notch, I'm never given a problem or a hard time from the staff, which is difficult to find at quite a few places now, and they genuinely seem happy to see you there. They just upgraded the seating, it's a comfortable, hassle-free dining experience.“

“If you’re looking for some of the best chicken in Atlanta, Rickettes is the spot! Hands down, the chicken is top-tier—crispy, flavorful, and some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The owner was there when we stopped by (we’re new to town), and he went above and beyond, letting us sample the turkey wings, ribs, and turnip greens. Everything was delicious, but that chicken stole the show. The green beans were tasty, the catfish was solid, and the turnip greens were surprisingly good. Great food, great hospitality—definitely worth a visit!“

“I had the beef brisket with Mac and cheese, collard greens and corn bread. This was probably one of the top 5 best Mac and cheese I had. The collard greens were a bit salty but I liked them. The corn bread was good but a bit dry. The bbq sauce was great I got hot and it wasn’t too spicy it was just right. I would definitely go here again. The prices are a bit pricey but it definitely was a good meal I can’t complain. I had a couple of shots at the bar while I waited for my food. They had a DJ in there it was really nice atmosphere.“

“I had to try them out after following on Social Media the food was so tempting that I had to make a detour through Riverdale on my way back from South Carolina to Alabama. Man they didn’t disappoint at all! The best Turkey I ever had in my life!!! I had the turkey knuckles and rice bowl. I will be coming back very soon. Food is 10 of 10!!!“

“I come here at LEAST 3x a week. The wings are ALWAYS FRESH & FIRE ? ALWAYS!! I will say that I personally never order anything besides the wings only. I may someday try the fried rice. The reason for the 4stars is because my very very very 1st x coming here I tried a gyro ? & wings. The gyro was DISGUSTING & COLD!! However, the wings were GOODT. Which is why i continued to come back for the wings. Now, every time i go i get wings only & they are literally ALWAYS fresh & fire !!! I can’t recommend variety from them at the time but i DO recommend the wings & i recommend u give them a try ??“

“The cook always make me laugh. I've been here bout 3x's and everything I've ordered has been sooooo delicious! They know how to make breakfast and everything is so flavorful and done right! “I get takeout from This Is It at least twice a week. The food selections are varied & outstanding but we especially love the collards. The waitstaff is exceptional; always greeting me with a smile and even remembering what I usually order. I highly recommend This is It if one desires food that tastes like home cooked and service that is beyond compare.“

“The food is bomb and good as always. And there's nothing spectacular about the atmosphere. You may run into some cool people to talk to but there was a guy loitering. I will say one of the original employees did get on him and make him leave. But the young girl at the countertop is rude as hell. She didn't look up she didn't speak. She's sitting there looking at people. Crazy rolling her eyes on her phone until I got my order and she still was real short tempered and I'm my OG at JJ's but I don't play with people children so I gave her the same energy and kept it moving. But a older gentleman got her put together and she finally smiled so
Vegetarian options: I guess the sides but It is a rib shack so you coming there for the meat I don't even order the sides
Parking: There's a parking lot with free parking but they always be packed so just depend on the time of the day. But you can park next door at the gas station, whatever“

“Excellent food and service. -Fabulous Mac&Cheese -Tender, juicy and tasty ribs -Special salad with strawberry sauce which makes you “eat your veggies” - Jalapeño corn bread is sublime! Really a nice and refined taste of Southern food and hospitality. I definitely recommend it.“
