“Starfish Home Bakery recently prepared two amazing cakes for my husband's 97th birthday celebrations. One was a 2-layer vanilla cake and the other was a huge sheet cake, both with real, heavy whipped cream and beautiful, fresh strawberries. The sheet cake was marbled with a fresh strawberry puree and was garnished with fresh strawberries and mint leaves. They were both sooo good! I highly recommend Cathy Liberatori and Starfish Home Bakery. She uses only the freshest ingredients and bakes in her emaculately clean kitchen. 💕”

“The atmosphere at Late Air is exceptional. No matter the season, a chill in the air, or sweltering humidity, the ambiance is Hot and Chill! The wine is like no other in the region sourced from near and far. I am told that in most cases the wineries are visited by the owners and operators Madeline and Colin. This greatly adds to the mystic because if you are lucky enough to be there when they are (which is highly likely), they may tell you a heartfelt story of how that particular wine made its way to Savannah and your palette. The food pairings are of a level of sophistication yet approachable. The menu changes often so make certain to follow them in insta and FB for the current offerings. Cheers!”

“Tonight we had what we have both stated was the best dining experience that either one of us have ever had. Common Thread Savannah offers an experience called the Chef Counter which was an 8 course blind taste offered by the Executive Chef Joseph Harrison. Each and every item were prepared in such unique ways that one would normally not think of. But I'll say everything was mind blowing. Everything was on point and every member of the staff were just as amazing. So if anyone wants an awesome dining experience then you have to visit this restaurant and do the Chef Counter.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2 bird plate and biscuits. The best fried chicken we've ever had actually. We were not disappointed. Portions were generous. Staff was the most knowledgeable and friendliest that we've ever experienced and we travel a lot and always try local eateries.”

“Exceptional beers. Variety of New England ipas that were different. One was citrusy one was hoppy and bitter the other one was piney with a little bit of malt.

Great music venue as well. You could actually have a conversation while you were enjoying the beer.”

“We came here for Sunday breakfast/brunch and holy crap! It was so good! The biscuits are worth the wait alone! The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!”

“It’s a nice place for a good meal in downtown Savannah. We were fans of the restaurant that had been in this space previously, so we were pleased to find vegan items on the new menu. Clearly labeled. Variety of sandwich and salad combos. Coffee, teas, lemonades. Pastries. We had the chicken salad and gyro. Both were delicious.”

“Visited 3+ times so far in 2025. This rooftop bar is located at the top of the Perry Lane hotel in downtown Savannah, GA.

Service is excellent, and the bartenders pride themselves on quality drinks (they checked in with us on taste + quality). I was a fan of their mint drink.
We’ve had some of their small plates, which are worth getting (or hold off and go downstairs to the hotel restaurant for an awesome experience).
The views of Savannah from this rooftop bar are some of the best we’ve seen. Highly suggest you pay this spot a visit.”

“A fantastic friend suggested this spot for a delightful meal with live music, so my wife and I decided to give it a go last Friday night—and boy, were we impressed! Cary welcomed us with such a warm smile and positive energy that we knew we were in for a special night. Following her recommendation, we ordered the potato leek soup and the Reuben sandwich, and let me tell you, it was an absolute winning combo! The corned beef was just out of this world and complemented the soup perfectly. And that Bloody Mary Cary made? It was simply extraordinary! I absolutely adored the selection of pickled garnishes she put together . The service was outstanding, and the live music was fantastic. We promised Cary we’d come back to sample everything on the menu. We expressed our gratitude for how she made our night unforgettable, and she asked us to skip the tip and just write a great review for The Snug instead—that felt like the perfect gesture! Naturally, we did both! My wife even joked about reaching out to the mayor to rave about that incredible Bloody Mary! The Snug has definitely won our hearts, and we can’t wait to return!”
