“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. “We had such an amazing breakfast at Aiwi Waffles on our very first day in Hawaii, and it could not have been a better start to our trip.
We ordered the berry medley mochi waffles with cream cheese and added bananas, and it was absolutely incredible. This place makes everything gluten free, whether you want sweet or savory waffles or even just a simple butter waffle, they can do it all. My husband is gluten free, but I am not, and I can honestly say this was the best waffle I have ever had. It was even better than any regular waffle I have tried before. You can really feel that they put their heart and soul into every dish.
The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. Our waitress was genuinely kind, took the time to talk with us, and even recommended places to visit during our stay. That personal touch made the experience even more special.
The prices are very reasonable, and the whole place feels friendly and inviting. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone in Honolulu, gluten free or not“

“Food was fresh and delicious. The produce they used was amazing quality. They have a lot of good options to choose from and the ordering process was quick and easy. My toddler who is in a picky eating phase loved their scrambled eggs and croffles. They also have the best matcha latte I've ever had, I believe they use a pandan syrup they make in house. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be returning.“

“Huge fan of Le Crepe Cafe and couldn't wait to eat here when we got to the island! I used to come here with my sister when she lived in Manoa, and the cafe was in a food truck in the Safeway parking lot. I was so happy to see they've found longterm success and are now in a storefront. Excellent savory and sweet crepes, and the coffee was on point. Very friendly girls working too. Can't wait to come back again next time!“

“The Loco Moco with conrbeef Hash is champ! The gravy hits and doesnt get tiring. The portions are huge for the price they charge. The different flavors of pancakes changes up the flavor profile. We were served the wrong pancakes, the server corrected our order, apologized and let us keep the extra pancakes. It can get very crowded inside, plus the parking is really small. Plan accordingly, park at nearby parking areas and walk up if the parking here is full. This is a must visit breakfast spot when in Oahu!“

This was an absolute delightful breakfast. We saved it for our last morning in Waikiki and looked forward to it all week. After an early morning surf, we hit the restaurant and enjoyed three orders of the Pink Pancakes. They were garnished so beautifully and had all these fancy little touches.

Take a little bit of the magic home with Pink Pancake Mix from the Royal Hawaiian Bakery further inside the hotel.“

“Breakfast Buffet located at the Hale Koa Hotel. Affordable, for military and retired guests and hotel guests, less than $30 with ocean views and your common breakfast buffet. We came at the perfect time on a Friday morning before 8am and before the rush arrived. We got a nice outdoor table with the views of the ocean and outside, there are nets so birds can get in. You can order drinks and smoothies for a charge. There is an omelette station and I think you can request special plates, but overall it’s a traditional continental breakfast buffet with salmon eggs benedict, French toast, and some Hawaiian dishes too. Located at the Kalia side of the towers on the side where check in is. The parking garage is across the street from the hotel. You can also charge to your room or pay there, I think my parents got a senior citizen discount. Convenient if you’re staying at this hotel.“

“Just beware that this place gets a CRAZY amount of orders on weekends and any holidays. You're going to be waiting like 30+ minutes and up to 40 minutes. They say it's because there are so many people making phone orders on those days. So you might as well get a drink or coffee and get ready to be patient. They are a small team and you can see they probably only have like 3 or 4 people cooking. The food is great and it is a nice place to relax and dine-in at. But just know you WILL be waiting a long time on weekends.“

I came here with my friend and we ordered the honey toast, Vanilla ice cream dream toast with chocolate sauce, Oreo cookie, pocky sticks and sprinkle sugar powder with raspberry. “In short words ill say the waitress was nice and the atmospehere was calm. The food wasn’t expected for the price but it was still the delicious. To summarize it’s calm, close to the ala moana hotel, nice but kinda pricey if you’re just there to eat a small meal rather then how much you should at a buffet. I went with my mom and together it costed 51$ (2 people) I would recommend this restraunt but only if you’re there to eat more then 1 or 2 plates of food“

Staff was unfriendly and mopped aound us as though the restaurant was empty while we sat and ate. Same person who mopped brought out our food (too quickly to have washed her hands). $40 per person minimum plus 20% mandatory surcharge before tip assumes high level of customer service. In conclusion, the food is excellent despite bad service and high prices.“
