“Zippy’s is basically the Hawaiian version of Denny’s, with all the comfort-food classics and local favorites. I ordered the Lau Lau and Kalua Pork combo, which was one of their Friday specials, and it was such a satisfying Hawaiian plate. My husband got the Korean Fried Chicken, and it definitely did not disappoint! Crispy, flavorful, and really tasty. Zippy’s is a great spot when you want something casual, comforting, and authentically Hawaii-style. 🌺🍽“

“Flying in from San Francisco, one of my 1st stops us always Zippy’s Casual friendly atmosphere. Delicious food. Love Portuguese soup and clam chowder. The corn bread fried and buttery. For a delicious taste of Honolulu, run to Zippy’s. I do!“

“A solid ramenya inside the Lanai at the mall. This spot offers a variety of ramen options. Prices are a bit on the higher side but the bowls come in larger portions. I went with the half size spicy tan tan ramen with char siu which was perfect since I wasn’t too hungry. Otherwise the regular size would have been the way to go. The char siu pork was tender with a light chew while the noodles were al dente though thinner than I would have preferred. The real star was the broth which was flavorful, balanced, not overly salty or spicy, and tied the whole dish together beautifully. Seating is limited at the counter but you can always use the Lanai food court area if you prefer.“

“Chita is a wonderful server, very sweet, efficient, makes sure we have everything we need. Other staff are polite and friendly too.
You can sign up for the wait at the front desk using your phone and your name appears on monitor to indicate when you’re up.
Plenty of free uncovered parking next to a gas station.
The coffee is super tasty and the food perfectly prepared with a nice portion! My favorite is the sweet bread French toast combo- comes with choice of egg and choice of meat.
This Zippys is super clean, spacious, lots of booths, and nice selection of pastries.
Plus we love the Hawaiian music which not all Zippys have.
This will be our go-to from now on!“

“Impressed by Pan's Kitchen yesterday! I ordered the fresh grilled ahi, and let me tell you, it was incredible. With the first bite you could tell just how fresh it was - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Just a heads up, there might be small hard time understanding sometimes due to the owner's accent. But be patient, communication works out, and the food is absolutely worth it. Parking can be tricky - it's one of those places we only go to when we see a spot open. We got lucky yesterday with an empty space, but two trucks swooped in as soon as we pulled in! Despite the potential parking hassle, Pan's Kitchen is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it for the incredible ahi (and hopefully a parking spot)!“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Zippy’s thanks to our amazing server, Harley! From the moment we were seated, Harley greeted us with a warm smile and genuine kindness that made us feel so welcome. Throughout our meal, Harley was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our drinks were always refilled promptly, special requests were handled with care, and the service felt personal and thoughtful without ever being rushed.

“Came in and ordered Teriyaki beef Saimin, mini Loco Moco, Salmon burger with a side of fries, and a mini Chicken Katsu. Very delicious, the chicken was crispy, salmon was cooked well, noodles in the Saimin were not over cooked, and the Loco Moco was great! Highly recommend stopping in here!

“Lots of variety and choices...although nothing stood out as being spectacular. Weird that there was bits of chopped potatoes in my adobo fried rice omelet. i've definitely had better elsewhere but for a food court concession it was ok! Not bad! The country fries was a little over cooked but it was well seasoned! Good portions! i ate 3/4 od my plate and i was stuffed! 😁👍🏼😁👍🏼“

“I appreciated having a canes in Hawaii! My girls loved the familiarity and I loved the fact that I could get a gallon to tea to take with us. Food was good. Service was nice and fast! It’s in a food court but we never had trouble finding some where to sit. We did have to clean our table.“

“My name is Mark. I lived on the island for a couple years 1979 to 1980 I used to frequent Gracies 2 to 3 times a week. The food was amazing. The prices were what I could afford. I will be visiting Oahu on a stopover before I go on a cruise in November and I’ve always told my wife about Gracie‘s. We put it on our itinerary for November 6th the late afternoon to take a cab to Gracie’s and try it again hopefully it exceeds my expectation. see you November 6th 2026 from Washington. “Shout out to Giovanni Pastrami in Waikiki. First of all, they screwed up! Somehow our ticket was missed in the kitchen, and after we had waited nearly an hour for our food, our waitress came and told us what happened and that they were preparing our meal now. She was very apologetic and very professional. Then the head chef came out from the kitchen and personally apologized and told us we were getting a 25% discount for our extra long wait. The food was very good and we were quite full. But then, one more olive branch appeared in the form of a complimentary brownie/ice cream dessert! I never judge a business on their mistakes; shit happens. But I totally judge businesses on how they handle their mistakes, and Giovanni Pastrami gets an A+! Ron & Jeanne Lodge Wenatchee, WA“

“I went here after the Aeia loop trail and was looking for a dog friendly cafe for some coffee. I am SO glad I stopped! Though it was a little difficult to find, The food/coffee was amazing (I got an iced vanilla latte and it was great quality), the service was amazing, the waitress Chelsea was so friendly and kind. I will be coming here again and again and again. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because I would.“
