Having been away for two years, I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the food which has gone way down. Prices seemed to have doubled out increased more than 30% in general. When I worked there in the 1980s we were always busy. Tips were good. But they the years the SAME menu is presented. Not much variety or changes. Zippy's needs to change with the times.
I kept hearing about Zippy's from all my family and friends. So I told my son we had to go and try it out. So after our hike on Diamond Head, we saw one along the way and we stop by. Well, they were right. The food was super delicious! Everything ordered, from the chicken to the even the rice. The restaurant itself had a great environment. There was always someone walking in and out steadily. Highly recommend Zippy's!
