“I celebrated my 33rd birthday here and it was amazing!!! Ke-von, our server, was absolutely incredible & very knowledgeable about the menu. He made my birthday very special & memorable. Mika was also amazing & the management was very attentive. Our glasses were never empty! The food was phenomenal - highly recommend the miso butterfish & whole crispy fish!! Thank you !!! ? “
“I came here for the first time in four years this year.Surprisingly, Mr. Wang retired last year...There is a cheerful Japanese man in his place, but it would definitely be better if he was a little more friendly!Too fussy.Steamed shrimp and spring rolls remain the same. However, this time, the teppanyaki beef pepper grill and beef and broccoli (katayaki version) were delicious.-2017 May-Mr. King!thank you as always! !“
“We came here while on a food tour of the area and the manapua were so good! We had 2 different ones. Definitely would recommend for a quick meal or snack! Will go back the next time we are in Oahu! Also love that this place has been around for so long!“
“First trying this new dimsum restaurant. Many Chinese friends are talking about it.The best part is they are open whole day long. So we can go any time during the day. Food is average good. Service is efficient. Price is okay too. No complaints ?. I would suggest to order some dishes from its menu, other than only the dim sum items. The chef will cook fresh dishes upon ordering ?Parking: Should not have any problems with finding parking ?️“
“Great food. The menu is quite extensive and the food is prepared where the flavors of Hong Kong come alive. From dim sum to lobster noodles the customer will not be disappointed. The waitstaff is courteous and very helpful always making sure you have a fresh pot of tea, and clean dishes in front of you. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere and many private dining rooms should you have a need for this service. The customer will not be disappointed in their choice to savor great Hong Kong style cooking“
“Had some business to do in downtown so we found this dim sum place on Yelp. This was our first time here. There were a lot of local, older, Chinese people eating lunch and speaking Chinese when we got there, so we figured it must be good haha! Service was quick during lunch hours. Food was delicious and exactly what we've been craving. The only dish we didn't really care for was the green onion pancake. There wasn't much flavor to it compared to a Korean pancake. Reasonably priced as well. Our total was around $50 for 2 adults, but we could've probably ordered 2-3 less items. We just wanted to try everything since we are rarely in downtown. Bathrooms inside the restaurant were clean. I would come here again if/when we're back in the area.“
“They have more dishes that are more closer to the authentic dim sum than other similar nearby restaurants on island only. They probably has the best Kai Lan in oyster sauce, Har Gaw and chicken feet in town. The dumpling's wrap and the lok fun's skin are all too thick. But in terms of sauce or seasoning, they are better than most of the dim sum on island.“
“Great food and ok service. The dim sum is fresh and hot. They no longer have the carts coming around, but being whatever you need when you order. Good value for money.Parking: Parking available in private parking lot right across the street. You have to scan a QR code and pay using your mobile phone.“
“Stopped in for a few to take home for brunch. Very Tasty. If you want a quick take out and well worth the price this is good. For those picky dim sum eaters (I am one of them) go to a sit-down restaurant. For what it is, it's well worth it.“
“This review is strictly based on my single visit for char siu manapuas. I had a hankering for a good manapua and found this gem by Don Quixote. I tried both the steamed and baked char siu manapua and they were both lovely. Between the two, I thought the steamed manapua was much more enjoyable. I will say there wasn't a lot of filling, but I was satisfied. Also, the char siu was a bit sweeter than I would've preferred. Still, a solid option for manapua and char siu fans. Fairly priced. The real star of this local business was the woman who helped me inside. I regret not having gotten her name but she was sweet and kind. She helped me navigate through my choices and was very patient.“
“First of all. It's in the 3rd floor. Kinda hard to find especially if it's your first time going there. I only had the bund and shumai. I ordered them to go, the buns were perfect but the they forgot the sauce for the shumai so it was just ok.“
“Very impressed by the dumplings in this unfussy and spacious dimsum restaurant. Xiao Long Bao was made fresh to order, and the barbecue pork buns (the white ones) were the best I've ever had. Also the red bean sesame balls were the largest I've ever seen, with excellent dough. We went right around when it opened and had no trouble getting a table for 3. Prices were shockingly reasonable as well - we ordered xiao long bao, har gow, siu mai, sesame balls, and baked barbecue pork buns and the total was around $30“
“I stopped here for some pork hash and manapua. I love this place. The pork has id way larger than the ones at 7-11 and about the same price. The manapua was ono as well. Service was fast and friendly. Parking can be a little tight, but I've always been able to find a stall. I meant to take pictures but ate all of the pork hash and manapua before I got home. I git no self control.“
