“The food truck is located in the parking lot, not in the marketplace building. We went at 10 am on a Friday and there was no one in line. The order was made fresh. We ordered the crispy pork sisig side dish, no rice to take home for lunch.
Parking: It's the old historic site of Arakawa's store.“

“We were in the area and saw this food truck on the side of the road. It seemed really popular with a line of about 10 people so we opted to try it. The smells coming out of the truck were good and I could understand why they had the line that they did.
We had the cheapest things on the menu. A spam, egg, and cheese sandwich and a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich. They were $5 each. They were basic for what they were but the food truck does say you can ask for anything to be made crispier which I’m sure would add to the flavor for some of the sandwiches.
For island price, I would say it’s fair, but for mainland price, it’s not worth it. For how basic the meal was, it did taste good and it barely took any waiting time. I don’t think we’ll come back to actively seek this food truck but maybe that’s due to us not getting something more expensive on the menu.“

“It was our first visit at El Gallo as we wanted to try something new. We ordered the Antiocuchos and the special, pesto pasta with breaded beef. We enjoyed both dishes. They were well seasoned and packed with a lot of flavor. We will definitely be back!“

“The real deal for lechon(Filipino roast pork). Crispiest pork skin ever! Large
portions(enough to feed two). It’s a (‘mom & pop)food truck. No picnic tables, no chairs, no shade. Street parking only(but everyone parks illegally for a few minutes). NO credit cards. Cash or Cash app.“

“I stumbled upon this gem by pure chance, I saw a long line at 9 AM at the Smash Burger line at the Kaka’ako Farmers Market on Saturday. The first thing I asked myself was, “do I really want to eat a hamburger at 9 AM in the morning?” After asking a couple of people in line the same question, they had an answer, they said it was THAT good. I was sold. My wife wanted us to split one hamburger but the others in line advised me against it. I am SO glad I listened. I have never had a hamburger that was so flavorful in my life.
I am vacationing from the Bay Area but I will definitely be back for another Smash Burger on my next visit.“

“The burgers and fries we had on our initial visit were so good that it prompted us to return the following day. However, during our second visit, we observed a few discrepancies. Firstly, the fries served were different and not as satisfactory as before. Secondly, the advertised "secret sauce" seemed to be absent unless mayonnaise was the intended secret ingredient. Additionally, it is worth noting that the menu lacks the option of ordering just the burger without the accompanying fries.
Edited to address the owners reply: I did not ask for anything different from the secret sauce. When we reached our hotel room, that's when we noticed we had mayonnaise and not the secret sauce. As far as the fries, I had no clue there were different options. If I did, I would have opted for the seasoned ones I previously had.“

“Amazing little food truck, I would dare to say the best meal I had taking into account how much you pay and what you get. Nice little spot with shared tables, and more food trucks if you feeling like something else. The shrimps are huge and very fresh, the attention is very very good as well, basically, nothing else to ask for.“

“We picked up some poké for dinner based on recommendations from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode. This location is vey casual and only a pick up place as there is no where to eat. You can order online or drive to figure out your choices and take home. Lots of choices and we love poké. We both ordered poké dishes and were not disappointed. Lots of unique choices. Prices were reasonable. The girl at the register was not what I would call customer friendly though. Very much a local place north of Waikiki, but very easy to reach by car by tourists.“

“Absolutely fantastic. If they were open everyday, my boyfriend and I would eat there for lunch and dinner. The main lady helped up with ordering and recommended top foods, and it didn’t disappoint. Best food in Waikiki. Wish we could take them home with us.“

“The Leonard’s Bakery mobile truck is the perfect way to enjoy their famous malasadas without braving the crowds at the main shop. The malasadas are just as fresh, warm, and fluffy, with perfectly sweet fillings like custard, haupia, or guava. The truck is quick, convenient, and delivers the same iconic flavors—ideal for satisfying your craving without the wait!“
