“I love this place. It’s very close to my house and I get lunch there frequently. I like the grilled chicken sandwich. It’s very low key but a nice remnant of what Kauai used to be like. The food is good but to a mainland person it might seem pricey; however there’s basically no place here that you can eat for under $20 per person.
If you can, call your order in ahead of time to avoid the 15 minute wait while they make your order fresh.
As a local, I’d recommend checking it out.“

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.“

You can get any bean on the menu as a pour over. It was my first time trying coffees from Thailand and India. The baristas know how to pull an espresso shot. Nice crema and rich flavor. Not knocking the iconic Kauai Coffee, but if you like coffee that's roasted to bring out flavor profiles natural to the bean, Imua is the place for you. ☕“

“hands down the best coffee shop on the north shore and i would even say across the island. if you care about nourishing your body with top quality and intentionally sourced ingredients, this is it. i mean c’mon they offer fresh coconut milk to add in your drinks and it IS worth the up charge. i am personally obsessed w their mintcha chip matcha. and their avo toast is life giving. the owner jackson makes it a priority to offer and support local businesses which is so important for the community, as community is everything on this little rock. The place is clean, service is very fast & the foods are tasty!
My husband order BBQ Mixed Plate, come with white rice & macaroni salad - very tasty, the chicken is very tender, the beef a bit chewy but tastes good. He also got Thai boba milk tea.
I ordered Garlic Shrimp that comes with brown rice and salad. It’s so good & perfect portion for me! Love the light salad dressing they provide - sweet sour taste.
My toddler gets cheeseburger & able to finished almost the whole thing!
The place pretty small, has 2 tables inside that can sit 4 & 6 people, 2 tables outside & there’s like 4-5 bar seats against the wall.
Overall it’s a very good experience, very affordable price with big portion when you get the combo.
We’ve been wanting to try a place that’s more local vibes & this is definitely it is! They are pretty busy with mostly take out orders during our visit .. they are all seem to be local that live nearby.

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“

And how could we end our trip in Kauai without eating there for our last diner. So here we are for the third time in a row. And we are not disappointed at all. We loved everything that we had here. We tried the padthai, the coconut curry, the Pan Fried Lo Mein and the Fresh Kauai Shrimp. It was EXCELLENT. We truly recommend this place. The waiter Silo is so nice and the food so good.

This is a take away food place. There are tables you can use but they do not offer full table service. The lady at the counter was very nice and helpful providing information about the menu options.

We had chicken katsu and mochiko chicken. Both were clearly made fresh. The chicken katsu was very juicy but the mochiko was a bit dry, yet great flavor.

This is good for a meal on a budget if you stick to the sides instead of getting the main combo dishes.“

“Cute little shop, kinda off in the cut. Great pizza! Homemade and fresh. I saw the guy get herbs from his backyard to add to ours, you can't get any fresher! The goat cheese and honey was 10/10. Will definitely be back, and that was just the pizza, don't get me started on the pineapple smoothie. They also have items for sale, the homemade soap and lotion smile great. You gotta go if you're in Kauai“

“This is helpful when you are in a pinch but you pay for the convenience. To go food is disappointing compared to other nearby options. Don't order the boneless ribs, it's actually 2 strips of flank steak reheated on a flat top, not the same thing! Sushi Shiono makes good grab n go sushi and the Wine bar has some great options, for late night too.“
