“Every time I see the open light, my car automatically stops in for a fresh fish option. Surprisingly, this is one of the few places to find a fresh-catch and Captain Sam's has a knack for seasoning just right.“

“We stopped in for lunch during our Road to Hana trip. We ordered the mahi-mahi and the ribs. The food was amazing; honestly the best food we had in Maui, and we are foodies…we ate at several of the most highly rated restaurants in Maui and Bruddah Hutts was our favorite! The men who work there and presumably own the place were so sweet, kind, and humble when we complemented them on their food. Definitely worth a stop during your trip to Maui!!“

“The food was amazing prices were fair coming from Kaanapali I think the prices are even better for the portions you get here. The ribs were fresh and big portion and the pasta was delicious. Service was very friendly and quick. I was surprised that it only had 4.3 rating, we think it deserves better based on the experience we had for dinner.“

“Breakfast at The Restaurant at The Hana Maui Resort is fantastic. The food is delicious, service excellent and setting is amazing. Expect typical resort prices, but well worth the money.

Currently they only serve breakfast because unfortunately there’s not enough customers to support lunch or dinner. However, the Hana Ranch restaurant, also owned by the resort, makes up for that.

If you get a chance to eat here, and don’t mind splurging a little bit, definitely make the effort.“
