“All I can say is YUM 😋 The jackfruit pita is too die for. I crave it every time I leave the island, and can’t wait to come back and have another one! And their pita bread is amazing. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-10”

“My wife and I went one night without reservations and had to wait about a half hour but the food was definitely worth it and the island version of the Mule I had was delicious.

Then we took my parents about a week later with a reservation and every single dish we had was amazing! The surprise star of the night was the lentils, the bruschetta was delicious, and the short ribs reminded my mother and I of her mothers roast beef which has always been my favorite.”

“Great place to try authentic Indian food! I ordered the coconut shrimp curry, and it was really delicious, nicely spiced and full of flavor. I got it medium, and honestly, it was still pretty spicy. I usually eat and enjoy spicy food, but this had some serious heat, so I probably wouldn’t recommend going “hot” unless you’re very confident.
The service and atmosphere were both on point. Even though it was busy, our order came out pretty quickly, which was impresive.

“This is the go-to place for a sit down breakfast, we had the Belgian waffles with a side of bacon (10 strips!) and the Sunrise coffee, which was very smooth. Service was friendly and quick, the place seats about 30 and people move in and out fairly quickly. They also have an assortment of delicious looking pastries and fresh baked bread on premise. We'll be back!”

“This is an AMAZING restaurant!! I got a burger and it was great! Would totally recommend! Usually the kids menu's burgers are just regular beef, but it was wagyu beef as well, and my kids loved it. Great service, so friendly. It wasn't very busy the day we went but that could just be because it's kind of hidden upstairs. To conclude, this is such a great restaurant for kids and adults! Please come here!!!!”

“BEST BURGER IN KAUAI. The little red food truck in the back of the spot behind the Liquor store in Hanalei is the best kept secret on Kauai. If you blink, you might miss the 4 or so creative food trucks on right side as you enter Hanalei. Sean the owner of Kauai Burger has taken every fresh ingredient available and transformed it into the best burger I have had in at least a year. I heard it was really good. Then I went today for the first time. It was so good, that I waited in line to get a second one just to try to figure out how to recreate a Kauai Burger on my own. Congratulations on creating an irresistible burger on the north shore. TIP: Best order is Double cheeseburger with the works along with tings. Delete review”

“The vegetable of the night was cauliflower. Undercooked hard . The swordfish was very good . My husband had the steak with mushrooms and a dab of sweet potato.. Not the most tender. That was the plates. No bread basket to fill.We won't be back here again. Plus horribly expensive and we have dined all over our country.”

“This place has such a great vibe, and one of the coolest things is that you can actually watch them prepare your breakfast right in front of you. It's such a neat, engaging experience!

And the food? Oh my goodness, the pastries and breads are out of this world. They're all baked fresh, and there's a huge, mouth-watering variety to choose from every single day. Plus, for anyone with dietary needs, they even have a fantastic selection of gluten-free pastries and bread, which is awesome to see – they really cater to everyone.

Full disclosure, it is a little on the pricier side, I won't lie. But honestly, the quality of the ingredients, the fresh preparation right before your eyes, and the overall delightful atmosphere really make it worth every single penny. You truly feel the value in every bite!

Seriously, if you're ever looking for a super enjoyable breakfast or brunch, I couldn't recommend this place more highly!”

“We loved this spot during our visit! Very generous portions that left us full at about $20/person before tip. We both got burritos, one veggie, one chicken, and we both loved our meals!
They have a sign saying they are short staffed, but even so, our food was ready in less than 10 mins on a Sunday night 👍🏼”

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.”

Honestly my 4 stars is for their incredible juices everything juice is so great!

One less star cause Service was okay the girl doesn't know the menu super well was surprised when I ordered a kale lemonade cause she didn't think they served it. And she also yelled at a lady for not getting out of the street so a little aggressive although her style is super cute love all her jewelry just thought she could be a little kinder but the atmosphere is epic with the mountain we walked a little north to this seating area that they have cabanas across the street and it felt unreal having fresh juice and that view!”

“Phenomenal food. They were about as packed as I've ever seen a restaurant and the servers killed it! Dishes were served promptly and politely and they managed to seat my wife and I and our baby despite there being a party of 52 there for a wedding. Super impressive. Will definitely be back.”
