“Wonderful experience. Food was delicious and the service was excellent as well. Reservations are required and become available a month in advance however, walk-ins are allowed and seated in the bar area. Walk-ins cue up an hour before they open.”

“BEST BURGER IN KAUAI. The little red food truck in the back of the spot behind the Liquor store in Hanalei is the best kept secret on Kauai. If you blink, you might miss the 4 or so creative food trucks on right side as you enter Hanalei. Sean the owner of Kauai Burger has taken every fresh ingredient available and transformed it into the best burger I have had in at least a year. I heard it was really good. Then I went today for the first time. It was so good, that I waited in line to get a second one just to try to figure out how to recreate a Kauai Burger on my own. Congratulations on creating an irresistible burger on the north shore. TIP: Best order is Double cheeseburger with the works along with tings. Delete review”

“The vegetable of the night was cauliflower. Undercooked hard . The swordfish was very good . My husband had the steak with mushrooms and a dab of sweet potato.. Not the most tender. That was the plates. No bread basket to fill.We won't be back here again. Plus horribly expensive and we have dined all over our country.”

Stopped in with my wife and daughter, who both love this place. Me? Let’s just say it’s a bit more “Instagram brunch” than “hungry guy breakfast.” The food’s fresh, the vibe’s definitely modern and a little on the coffee café side—lots of chick-food energy. Portions are on the smaller side, and the prices remind you you’re still in Hawaii, but most everything tastes good (avoid the pastrami) and the staff’s friendly. Lines can be long, but apparently that’s the price of popularity. Not really my scene, but my family was happy, and that’s worth four stars”

“I dont know what these negative reviews are talking about, they are NOT “mean” here— they’re over worked and under staffed! Give them a break and be patient.

I’d wait all day for these tacos they are that delicious. We had 7 people in our party and we ate here 3 different times— we have no notes, the food is incredible. The chipotle fish tacos were my personal fave. There is a bit of wait for your food, but as mentioned, we found it totally worth it.”

- acai bowl with mango 7/10: acai was all melty, not very many toppings. it's mixed with apple juice so kinda just tasted like apple juice... nothing special
- dole whip swirl 8.5/10: kinda fire. some bites were too much cream to pineapple ratio but the parts with more pineapple were perfection!”

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.”

“If you want cheap and easy local food this is the place to pick. Wasn’t expecting much based on how it looked, but if you have a buzz and you want some good comfort food the loco moco is legit!”

“Phenomenal food. They were about as packed as I've ever seen a restaurant and the servers killed it! Dishes were served promptly and politely and they managed to seat my wife and I and our baby despite there being a party of 52 there for a wedding. Super impressive. Will definitely be back.”
