“This restaurant is unbelievable. It was so good that we canceled our next day dinner plans and came back. Both times, EVERY dish was so well planned, perfectly cooked, seasoned and unique. You can tell two head chefs own and cook at this restaurant. As a small business owner myself, the extra dedication and passion for food is evident in this establishment. The service was also fantastic. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in all of our travels. And we can be pretty high maintenance lol.”

“From the restaurant you have a beautiful view of the mountains. The service is fast and good.
There is quite a large selection of food to choose from and it tastes good so far, although I can't necessarily recommend the burger with fish because the taste of the bun completely overpowers the fish. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a shame.”

“BEST BURGER IN KAUAI. The little red food truck in the back of the spot behind the Liquor store in Hanalei is the best kept secret on Kauai. If you blink, you might miss the 4 or so creative food trucks on right side as you enter Hanalei. Sean the owner of Kauai Burger has taken every fresh ingredient available and transformed it into the best burger I have had in at least a year. I heard it was really good. Then I went today for the first time. It was so good, that I waited in line to get a second one just to try to figure out how to recreate a Kauai Burger on my own. Congratulations on creating an irresistible burger on the north shore. TIP: Best order is Double cheeseburger with the works along with tings. Delete review”

“Coffee was excellent. No soy milk, but oat was an option. I got the breakfast burrito, sans eggs and cheese. Avocado toast and peanut butter toast (sans honey) were the only other vegan options. We got there a little before 8am on a Wednesday and the line wasn’t too long and moved quickly.”

- acai bowl with mango 7/10: acai was all melty, not very many toppings. it's mixed with apple juice so kinda just tasted like apple juice... nothing special
- dole whip swirl 8.5/10: kinda fire. some bites were too much cream to pineapple ratio but the parts with more pineapple were perfection!”

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.”

“I dont know what these negative reviews are talking about, they are NOT “mean” here— they’re over worked and under staffed! Give them a break and be patient.

I’d wait all day for these tacos they are that delicious. We had 7 people in our party and we ate here 3 different times— we have no notes, the food is incredible. The chipotle fish tacos were my personal fave. There is a bit of wait for your food, but as mentioned, we found it totally worth it.”

“It's a decent fast-food Hawaiian BBQ joint. We probably could've gotten better food in the area, but even these guys were 20-30 minutes from entering line to getting food while everyone else was an hour at least. Limited seating on old picnic tables that need some attention.”

“Phenomenal food. They were about as packed as I've ever seen a restaurant and the servers killed it! Dishes were served promptly and politely and they managed to seat my wife and I and our baby despite there being a party of 52 there for a wedding. Super impressive. Will definitely be back.”
