“This restaurant is unbelievable. It was so good that we canceled our next day dinner plans and came back. Both times, EVERY dish was so well planned, perfectly cooked, seasoned and unique. You can tell two head chefs own and cook at this restaurant. As a small business owner myself, the extra dedication and passion for food is evident in this establishment. The service was also fantastic. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in all of our travels. And we can be pretty high maintenance lol.”

“From the restaurant you have a beautiful view of the mountains. The service is fast and good.
There is quite a large selection of food to choose from and it tastes good so far, although I can't necessarily recommend the burger with fish because the taste of the bun completely overpowers the fish. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a shame.”

“Coffee was excellent. No soy milk, but oat was an option. I got the breakfast burrito, sans eggs and cheese. Avocado toast and peanut butter toast (sans honey) were the only other vegan options. We got there a little before 8am on a Wednesday and the line wasn’t too long and moved quickly.”

“BEST BURGER IN KAUAI. The little red food truck in the back of the spot behind the Liquor store in Hanalei is the best kept secret on Kauai. If you blink, you might miss the 4 or so creative food trucks on right side as you enter Hanalei. Sean the owner of Kauai Burger has taken every fresh ingredient available and transformed it into the best burger I have had in at least a year. I heard it was really good. Then I went today for the first time. It was so good, that I waited in line to get a second one just to try to figure out how to recreate a Kauai Burger on my own. Congratulations on creating an irresistible burger on the north shore. TIP: Best order is Double cheeseburger with the works along with tings. Delete review”

“Organic local flavors. Delicious. Out of the way but worth it. Order around back. Choice from traditional flavors to exotic. Just a few one lane bridges past Hanalei. Only notice would be no cell service up this far. Hope they leave it that way.”

“Stopped here for a fish taco lunch and were not disappointed. Everything was made fresh to order and tasted great. Service was very friendly, despite how busy it was. Picnic table seating outside lets you enjoy the main street in this sweet little beach town.”

“Great spot for some shaved ice. It's conveniently located in the middle of the plaza within hanalei and makes for a great dessert place after dining. Tried the tropical breeze and really enjoyed it. There is vanilla ice cream with macadamia nut at the bottom that u gotta work to get to but it's great.”

“The vegetable of the night was cauliflower. Undercooked hard . The swordfish was very good . My husband had the steak with mushrooms and a dab of sweet potato.. Not the most tender. That was the plates. No bread basket to fill.We won't be back here again. Plus horribly expensive and we have dined all over our country.”

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.”

“It's a decent fast-food Hawaiian BBQ joint. We probably could've gotten better food in the area, but even these guys were 20-30 minutes from entering line to getting food while everyone else was an hour at least. Limited seating on old picnic tables that need some attention.”

“Phenomenal food. They were about as packed as I've ever seen a restaurant and the servers killed it! Dishes were served promptly and politely and they managed to seat my wife and I and our baby despite there being a party of 52 there for a wedding. Super impressive. Will definitely be back.”
