“We decided last minute to visit this farm today. Despite the fact that we arrived a little late, they made space for us on the farm tour. Our 5 kids loved it. If it's a little rainy, be expected to get a little dirty / wet and wear appropriate clothes and shoes if you want to do the tour. The prices for food and the tour are comparable to anywhere else on the island. On the tour you get to sample many things straight from the farm, totally worth it! The food is delicious and the tour is very informative. Overall, this is a very family friendly, local owned farm!“

“The crepes were so cute & delicious! The workers were kind & kept the store cleanly.
Pictured is the strawberry banana chocolate sundae crepe & the brownie custard chocolate sundae crepe. It’s perfect for those who like “not too sweet” treats.
I recommend getting the takeout container for kids if you don’t want a mess. Just a heads up there is a to go service fee which is 30 cents each“

The service was top-notch, with such friendly and efficient staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. And the portion sizes? Insane (in the best way)! “I stumbled upon this catfe (get it? So cute!) when I needed to use the bathroom one day on my way to Mokulē’ia and it was such a great discovery! First, they have a nice extensive menu with caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, sweet and savory food, and bagged snacks. Their caffeinated drinks are not too sweet and I’m thrilled about that. To play with cats, it is $20 for an hour + a free drink and it’s honestly such a good deal! The cats are SOO cute and friendly, and I can’t wait to meet the new kittens that are coming in.
The owners (who also work there), Angela, Jason, and their daughter are all so sweet. I have already brought a cat-lover friend to visit, and can’t wait to make this a regular stop when I’m on my way to Mokulē’ia!“

“My husband and I Read about this place through the support 808 page and saw they offered porkroll and scrapple. For a born and raised South Jersey girl, finding those on this island is heaven! We ordered a couple of Hoagies for lunch and porkroll and scrapple and pickles too! Definitely a place we will be often! Reminds me of a good stop to take hoagies to go when going down the shore! “The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant was an unexpected find. We try to find non-touristy and local restaurants. It’s about 35 minutes from Honolulu. Annika (sp?) was a wonderful server. She answered all our questions, gave perfect suggestions and was very attentive. The food was delicious and had leftovers (we ordered a lot). We had crab rangoons & the soft won tons as appetizers. Pat ordered the General Tso’s Chicken Plate and half Roasted Duck, which he LOVED. I ordered the Pepper Garlic Pork Chop (DELICIOUS!!) and Hawaiian Fried Rice. I asked for sau-sau-an (sp? a type of Filipino vinegar garlic dipping sauce), which added to the taste of the pork. The Ube Ice Cream was a delicious surprise. The reason for the 4 stars for food is because the fried rice was a little overcooked. If we were staying longer, we would go to it a few more times. If you get a chance to go, you won’t be sorry.“
