“Kilani Bakery is the ABSOLUTE BEST bakery in Hawaii!! Kilani Bakery has the most delicious brownies ever!! Those brownies are so incredibly delicious that they give you options to choose from! “Stopped for an early lunch on a Thursday. Very fortunate that there was parking, because after we pulled in the two other spots filled up instantly. Not to knock the service at this location, but I believe future orders will be take-out. Besides, when you eat at home you can just let the food coma knock you out, as opposed to fighting it on the drive home from the restaurant.

We started with the guacamole and chips. It seemed a little unusual that it was served in a take out bowl, but upon reflection this makes perfect sense. We didn't finish it, and it easily packed up to go with us. Also, it was a nice chunky style that we liked very much.

I ordered the 3 carne asada (steak) street tacos. Awesome.

My wife ordered the carnitas (pork) Barrio burrito. Going to order this the next time.

My mother-in-law and grandmother both had shrimp Barrio burritos. They didn't share.

Everyone raved about the food. Service was top notch, with the waitress stopping by often to check our water, quality of food. When we finished up we also ordered some things to go.

“I've never had shabushabu before and it was amazing! So many choices of everything! It's buffet and ridiculously delicious. So much food and so healthy too. There's not a place to sit and eat. It's definitely takeout. But we drove to the Hukilau beach literally two minutes away to eat. He recommended 2 places, (I won't say the other one on this review, but it was also excellent!) He brought us to Coral Kingdom for the Huli Huli Chicken. It was so flavorful, juicy and delicious! We loved the relaxed atmosphere and good food. After we ate, we went shopping and got some cute souvenirs. I'm so glad we didn't miss this spot.“

“I had such a great experience at 2 Mom Kitchen! The meat jun was tender, & flavorful, and the bibimbap was fresh, & colorful. The lady at the counter welcomed me with such kindness. While it’s not a full sit-down restaurant, there’s a small table with three chairs where you can wait comfortably for your order. And the free street parking makes stopping by so easy. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu.“

The Cove also has nice jewelry and home goods. Beware that Google Maps may take you to the wrong place, so it's a good idea to input an address for the taco truck next door.“

Steak bowl was small but it was very filling. Burger was huge and so was the chicken sandwich. Seafood combo was delicious. Definitely recommend“

“We found this place on another online platform after going to the Dole Plantation. It is located in a strip mall that looks old and run down so we were skeptical. We located the restaurant in the corner of the lot (next to the Goodwill). We sent a scout in take a look prior lol. The scout gave us the all clear so we entered the restaurant, which was clean and had open tables. We were greeted by a nice man who took the time to get to know us and give us some island history. Ok to the food: There were 4 of us. Each ordered a different entree. 1. Spam hand roll and a tempura hand roll - deliciousness 2. Energy roll- this tasted very fresh and was a roll with eel and avocado on top with eel sauce- deliciousness 3. Ahi poke bento box- came out looking just like the picture on the menu( how many times does that happen!) lots of fresh fish and rolls- deliciousness 4. Tempura shrimp bowl with spicy sauce on top. Tempura shrimp Packed in a bowl on a bed of rice. - deliciousness 5. Spicy ahi poke bowl- came out with tons of fresh ahi covered in spicy mayo and sriracha sauce. - delicious if you like spicy fresh fish. This mom and pop shop deserves your business. The food (all of it) tasted fresh and made with care. I would not write it if it wasn’t true. They will serve you a complimentary miso soup to start ( no spoons here, sip out of cup!) Good fresh ingredients, great tortillas and sauce, service was mostly just pointing to a sign to share what you wanted. Of the three places we ate (here, Giovanni’s, and Huli Huli chicken) in this food truck area, I’d call this the best one of the three, would def eat here again.“
