“This restaurant was so good that I decided to start writing Google Reviews - the world needs to know how great this place is. We stayed in Hilo for 5 days and ate here twice. Every single thing we ate was excellent. Our most well-traveled group member decreed this as the best Thai food he’s ever had in America. The curry was spectacular - especially the green curry, the masaman curry, and the red pineapple curry. We also enjoyed the pad Thai, coconut soup, green papaya salad, spring rolls, Thai tea, and mango sticky rice. You really can’t go wrong!Ohi and Lotus were so kind; they even gave us recommendations for local activities as we were waiting for our food. It sounds like they grow most of their vegetables or buy them at local farmer’s markets. Everything tasted so fresh! “We ate at the Thai Smile food truck last night. It was very good! The leftovers today were just as good. I definitely recommend trying this. The shrimp popped off the tails easily. The flavor was amazing, with enough sauce and rice to get the most out of every bite.“
“Food was amazing!! So delicious and fast the food came, left our plates empty. Service is super cute and family owned. Not crowded so everyone needs to come give them their business. Just wish there was some background music/noise but other than that it was great. Get the spring rolls and best Korean chicken in hilo not kidding“
“A great counter-serve place to grab some lunch after stopping by the farmer's market.Food always comes served hot and fresh, with great flavor. Always love myself a zingy plate of curry noodles--I recommend to ask for spice! Reasonable prices compared with many Hilo places serving the same cuisine.Can have a few minutes' wait at busy hours, but is well-worth it...Enjoy the murals and artwork in the shared dining area.?????“
“I loved it!! The spice level is way better than a lot of other places I went to and was actually spicy. There were many vegetable in the Pad See Ew which we appreciated and the service was pretty quick. :)) Place is a little hard to find, we almost missed it, but glad we found it. We came in with low expectations and left with big smiles! ?“
“Excellent Thai at reasonable prices. Offering avocado as an option instead of protein made the Garden Curry ($16) extra delicious.The Pad Thai ($20 Sunday special) was also outstanding, chicken was tender, vegetables were flavorful and cooked just right.Their "mild" is very mild, you may wish to go one step up, or do what we did and add a little soy sauce.Portions were healthy, enough food for lunch and dinner for both of us. The service was friendly. This place appears to attract locals.We were very happy to find Tina's Garden Cafe.“

I thought I knew good Thai food but this is REALLY good Thai food. “Stopped at this thai restaurant for dinner and so glad we did. The cucumber drink was so refreshing after a hot day. The servings of our plates were big and very filling, couldn't finish it all in one sitting. I had the drunken noodles (medium spice), cooked great!“
“Nice friendly service. Clean restaurant convenient to Downtown Hilo. Had the Coconut Chicken soup and the Pad Thai chicken noodles. Both were good. Also had the Thai ice tea and was good. I would recommend ? this restaurant for good Thai food. Close to the Hilo open product market so you could take care of your produce shopping while having lunch. This restaurant is not very crowded as we were the only customers at 11 am Monday.“
“I am not one that gives reviews out easily, but when the food is really great and sticks in my mind wanting more, I enjoy letting others know how good it was too! I enjoy a good fancy papaya salad with the avocados, tomatoes, and delicious mixed nuts. I've tried papaya salad many places, but this is absolutely the best I have had! It's always fresh, crunchy and so delicious with just the right amount of spiciness! I find myself looking ahead on my calendar to see which weekend I have off so that I can go get one!
