Fish and Rice has to be the best sushi takeout place on Oahu. The freshness, attention to detail, and quality is levels ahead any other place I've tried.This place is located in the food court of Palama Supermarket along Makaloa St and Kalakaua Ave. There's parking, but can get busy. Once you enter Palama, it's to your right, at the end.Fish and Rice serves nigiri, sushi rolls and bowls, sashimi, udon, salad, platters, and appetizers. Pretty good fish for the price! I got the chirashi bowl and it had a little bit of everything. The fish tasted fresh but it wasn't the nicest cut I'd say, but with that price and the location I had a realistic expectation. The staff were friendly and got my order ready fairly quickly. I saw they also had some specials throughout the week.
