I was at Best Buy for a while before learning I'd be waiting for techs to personalize my purchase which could've taken up to 4.5 for them to get to. Supervisor Alondra suggested I go to a Saimen place, La Tour & another place. I walked over and into La tour. The menu looked great! I saw a roast beef dip sandwich I may have chosen but when I saw a "Falafel" sandwich I was very intrigued as I never saw this on any menu at a casual restaurant in Waikiki area. This place could be really cute if the seating area and and entrance was more bistroish. The food is good albeit a tiny bit over priced. I paid 24 dollars for a sandwich, iced coffee and two kouign amann . The pastries are the highlight of the place but they are tucked away and hidden behind cases that don’t showcase them. Some people enjoyed their food, but many of the items were just so-so. The flavor combinations for the meal items feel like they were never tested, good on paper but off putting in reality. The falafel salad featured slightly burnt falafel, with the only flavor profile being sour (pickled onions, preserved artichoke hearts, mustard sauce), with a side of incredibly crispy bread that is probably meant to go with the soups, and not easy to eat without one.
