“I've visited this location a few times, mostly for breakfast. The food is good and the staff is nice for the most part. Haven't had any order issues until today. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit but got home and it was bacon instead. No big deal I guess.“

“Food was really good, I definitely recommend the Loco Moco. Even the onion rings was top of my list. The amount of food you get for what you pay for is awesome. Especially in the middle of Waikiki just be aware that it’s in the middle of Waikiki, so it’s most likely very busy so expect a wait for ordering and good luck finding a table to sit at especially evening time. Wednesday and Friday nights have live music so good!

Parking: Park in the international parking lot and they validate.

I am a pretty good cook and like that when people prepare food good as well. The place a hole in the wall... no frills the service!!! Real good... the food. Hmmm. Let me tell you the plates were off the hook!! The short ribs great taste flavor soo good cook just the way I like it... Garlic Shrimp... o rank it up there as one of the best I ever ate. “This is a small mom and pop in the Manoa Marketplace. The food was fair. It could use more flavor or some salt and pepper. A extra kick of umami in the mushroom burger I had would have helped. Perhaps some more salt or beef stock in the gravy for the loco moco, too. It's been around a long time so it's a neighborhood staple. There were quite a few local regulars coming in, I did notice that many were older and the lower sodium was intentional for them. It is a mom and pop store and I believe they were helping their regulars control their sodium. The interior was very clean, a huge plus when so many places lack staffing. The decor was functional and showed age. I grabbed a seat and waited for my order and quickly left to enjoy the cool Manoa air. I would come back to try something else.“

“OMG has always had the best salmon salad on the island except for this morning. We have always purchased the salad in the evening. It is very crispy and beautifully presented like the photo.The salad this morning was not healthy nor edible. It was unevenly salted, with some very salty pieces and the salmon was chopped, or shredded into soggy oily pieces. The salad seemed to be covered with the fried oil. Considering the salmon salad is one of the more pricy items on the menu, there should be consistency on the dish.“

“I haven't been here for years. Ordered the fried noodles, bento, and garlic chicken. The fried noodles were surprisingly good. Another place to get good fried noodles. The wife approved, so the noodles are very good. The garlic chicken was delicious, too. I like the crispy and flavorful chicken. Garlic sauce was good, too. My son had the bento, and he said it was good. I will definitely be back.

“I ordered a regular single burger, my husband a double. Both were upgraded to a meal. I really enjoyed my meal. Unfortunately, I had to wait for a new batch of fries as mine were cold. I enjoyed the char taste and the seasoning. My husband wasn't so happy though. He ordered his burger medium and it was definitely rare. He pushed through as best he could and got a little over half way. He just couldn't stomach the rest. He really liked his onion rings, they were really good. His other complaint was that there was way too much seasoning on his burger and it was salty.The service was good. These young kids were super polite. The dining room was freezing. The prices are quite a bit steep. Regardless of the fact I enjoyed my meal, I definitely wouldn't go back because of the prices. It just isn't worth it.“

Not sure if it's just this particular store...It's one of the most famous burger places in America. Unlike the New York locations, the Hawaii branch didn't have peanuts when I visited, but this might need confirmation. The burgers are tasty and the portions are decent. However, I don't think they surpass Teddy's Burger, another famous handmade burger spot in Hawaii. Since it's a franchise, it's worth a visit if you're looking for a familiar taste.“

“I stumbled upon this gem by pure chance, I saw a long line at 9 AM at the Smash Burger line at the Kaka’ako Farmers Market on Saturday. The first thing I asked myself was, “do I really want to eat a hamburger at 9 AM in the morning?” After asking a couple of people in line the same question, they had an answer, they said it was THAT good. I was sold. My wife wanted us to split one hamburger but the others in line advised me against it. I am SO glad I listened. I have never had a hamburger that was so flavorful in my life.

“One of the many trucks here in the Food Truck Park. It serves Filipino, Mexican, steaks, etc. I tried the crab/lobster roll and it was very good. Next time I will try the lechón kawali. The seating area wasn’t the cleanest and full of flies, which was kind of expected. This place also offers a 20% discount on its popular dishes during Happy Hours 2-5 p.m.

Vegetarian options: I didn’t see any vegetarian dishes other than French fries.

“Its good to know Bob's is moving to the former location that housed, Tasty Chop Suey. Dont be put off by the structure of the building, its apparently falling apart, but they still deliver old school BBQ Teriyaki. Tried the saimin and as expected its old school broth topped with green onion and luncheon meat.

Requested a sidewalk-view table and was told it would be just a few minutes wait time. We started a drink at the bar and then were escorted to a perfect outdoor table viewing Kalakaua Ave. scene.
Now for the best part - our server Perry.
He was so pleasant and efficient and took such god care of us and our meal. Best server ever.
Food was good, as usual, but the service really made for a memorable evening.
