“We decided last minute to visit this farm today. Despite the fact that we arrived a little late, they made space for us on the farm tour. Our 5 kids loved it. If it's a little rainy, be expected to get a little dirty / wet and wear appropriate clothes and shoes if you want to do the tour. The prices for food and the tour are comparable to anywhere else on the island. On the tour you get to sample many things straight from the farm, totally worth it! The food is delicious and the tour is very informative. Overall, this is a very family friendly, local owned farm!”

“5 stars for funnel cake! It’s the perfect combination of crispy, sweet, and just a little indulgent. Every bite is like a mini celebration, and I’m pretty sure I smiled the entire time I ate it. It’s definitely messy, so be prepared with napkins, but totally worth it. Simple, but so satisfying!”

“Was turned around by police miles away because of a brush fire, i pulled over to this place with only $17 by chance, i never carry cash, well… this place ONLY takes cash, i was starving but as soon as she told me, i was already turning around to drive a few more hours back to the airport and head to Honolulu in defeat, this super nice lady said that would be enough and still gave me a plate of delicious chicken that saved my relationship with my wife on the drive back to the airport.”

“I got the Lau Lao and Kahlua pig. I had garden salad and substituted. A second garden salad for my rice. Salad was fantastic. They were some nice greens, not cheap iceberg. The Lau Lau was fantastic. The pork was flavorful and melt in your mouth. The Kahlua pig was just as flavorful. Also came in a bowl that I washed and reused for a picnic later.”

“Delicious vegetarian options! You can add tofu, even if it’s not listed on the menu. I got the Pad Kee Mao with Tofu, and it was a generous and tasty portion of noodles + tofu + veggies. This is probably the best value for money I’ve had so far while visiting Hawaii. There are nice picnic tables where you can eat-in. Appreciate the tasty food and service with a smile!”

“Got the Chicken street taco plate, medium salsa, and it was pretty good, the ultimate judge being my son who ate most of it. Good fresh ingredients, great tortillas and sauce, service was mostly just pointing to a sign to share what you wanted. Of the three places we ate (here, Giovanni’s, and Huli Huli chicken) in this food truck area, I’d call this the best one of the three, would def eat here again.”

“Cute, casual, open-air place with shaded seating. Friendly, easygoing atmosphere. Shave ice is a bowl of loosely flaked ice with sweet flavored syrup, eaten with a spoon and straw. Refreshing on a hot day. Our vegan family got "ice only" fruit flavors, hence vegan ($4 a bowl). I enjoyed my combo pineapple and li hing (salted dried plum) shave ice. Vegetarians and omnivores can gild the lily by adding (dairy) ice cream and topping ($7 a bowl I think). I was tempted to get some fresh tropical fruit, also for sale, but skipped it. We saw other folks getting cut coconuts and pineapples with straws to drink the juice. Mango and other local sliced fruit was also available. A half dozen souvenir shops are in the same little parking area. The most upscale was the sea glass art shop, with works by local artists. Other shops sell tshirts, swim wear, jewelry, etc. Updated from previous review on 2022-12-28”

“Off the Lip is essentially the lobby bar for the Ritz at Turtle Bay. So far as lobby bars go, it's top tier for sure. A long bartop and plenty of seating allows patrons to enjoy the incredible ocean views. Is it the best drinks or food I've had at a lobby bar? No, of course not - but it was an exceptional experience regardless.”
