“Really awesome place we came here to eat and had some awesome drinks .we met the executive chef Luis Axalan he was very nice explaining the concept and he was very helpful explaining the food items . We also tried the Chef’s Special salmon crostini was the best we ever had. The pork Bao buns is to die for!!!! 10/10 for all the food . The drinks were very good also . We will definitely come back . Kailua peeps come down and check them out ..“

“We just landed a few hours ago for our first trip to Hawaii and after a long day of travel, we walked around for a while somewhat overwhelmed by all the options nearby. After a few failed attempts at finding what we were looking for - a somewhat unassuming place where we could sit down, read a menu with authentic flavors, get a drink or two from a wide selection of local favorites - we thankfully found the genius lounge, just a short walk away!

Huge drink menu, amazing Asian inspired meals, great monthly specials, and staff that were very attentive. We'll definitely be comparing all of our future meals to this one. Highly recommend.“

“I made a reservation specifically to enjoy the fireworks, and I was so excited for the evening. While the hostess was extremely polite despite looking quite flustered, the management experience fell short. The manager (or bar manager—she was wearing a headset) and the gentleman behind the bar came across as notably abrupt. Having worked in the industry for many years, I completely understand the stress of a busy night, but this felt out of place for an establishment of this caliber—especially being at a Ritz-Carlton.

Onto the food! The drinks were fantastic and the meal itself was delicious, though I was a bit disappointed to find some old, wilted pieces of lettuce in my salad. Otherwise, no complaints!

A special shoutout to our amazing server (a redheaded-woman whose name I unfortunately didn't catch)—she was wonderful. And the view for the fireworks? Absolute perfection. 10/10 for the view and the server!“

“Amazing drinks, we go back for the pho highball and pretty much any of their cocktails. The bartenders are super friendly and helpful about questions with the menu or substitutions. The drinks are beautiful, have fun garnishes, and super creative!“

“Me and my daughter visit here in November we went the waitress. They call her. Hennessy and Roland were so nice. The hookah was good. Good environment. I recommend if you’re ever in Hawaii this is the hookah lounge to visit. good vibes and you can also bring one bottle. I think there are trying to get their liquor license. They don’t have food right now, but you can definitely order food. Trust you will enjoy.“

“Such a great spot for happy hour! Perfect for girls night. Excellent wine and great service. I had two glasses of wine and split an order of fries and a little pizza with a friend. I spent around $35 (before tip). Also the vibe is perfect if you want something that feels a little bougie and elevated. Highly recommend!“

“Located on the 2nd floor of Waikiki Shopping Plaza. I went there at the end of September 2024, and it was empty and quiet. Drinks include sweet latte, mocha, and tea. The restroom was outside the store. You can apply for tours etc. There were 3-4 operators at the counter. I was curious about the $40 bill for a taxi from my hotel in Waikiki to the airport, but I had already booked it elsewhere, so I didn't use it. Although it was smaller than Rakuten Lounge, it was a good place to take a break.“

And we were fortunate to be able to play numerous racks even though there were over 2 dozen people enjoying the reggae music and socializing with eachother. And since playing pool was the mission. “I know people that are rakuten members and was fortunate to visit this location twice. Last year and most recently, last week (May 2026). It looks pretty much the same.
The space is clean, spacious and open. You first check in, immediately to the left are the coffee & tea machines, water, and Hawaiian Sun drinks. To the right is the children's play area. Further left are the private rooms, massage chairs and restrooms.

The rest of the space are comfortable chairs and tables to sit and relax in. They also have free wifi for members. Its a very good place to visit if you need to take a breather from the hot sun and humid weather. If I was a visitor and had rakuten membership I would definitely take advantage of it.

Service was nice and helpful. Just like Japan, its on point and customer oriented. No complaints.

“I did not leave a star value for food as I have never eaten there. I go to patronize the elixirs and potions that they serve during appropriate drinking hours, and to listen to the great talent and music that they offer. Some of my favorite local talent come to play at this establishment, so you best believe when I can i show up to show support. @kineticsounds_ is the group of talented promoters and djs. Find them on instagram and even you can slay the decks @dragon_upstairs. The venue is very cozy, smaller dance floors and bar, yet to dance and hit the bathroom then back to dance u dont gotta go far. 😅🤭😜“

“Stopped by LBLE bar twice on our NYE trip to Waikiki.

The 1st time, we stopped by for a drink, waiting for our room. We were able to catch the Saturday afternoon football game on the huge TV, grab HH drinks and some lau lau nachos.

The 2nd visit, we went to watch the week 18 49ers vs Seahawks game, we ordered HH drinks and was able to order from Blake's secret menu! Blake went out of his way to make us a rootbeer float.

The great service from Blake the bartender is what drove us to come back for a 2nd visit. We enjoyed our time spent in LBLE Lounge and will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Shout out to Blake for making our visit enjoyable.

“Nice place to wind down. It was me and my buddy's first time here. We just ordered some appetizers. The tempura was crispy and fresh. The french fries were very good, and they helped absorb all the Macallan we drank that night.

The service was excellent. The waitress made sure our drinks were always filled.

The atmosphere was perfect and their staff were very friendly. The owner made sure we were taken care of.
