“Stopped by Thai Food Express One and tried the papaya salad for $10. It was really good! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, crisp, and flavorful, and it felt like a genuinely authentic Thai papaya salad rather than something made for tourists. Great balance of flavors and a nice portion for the price. Simple little food truck with delicious, freshly prepared food. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. I’d recommend the papaya salad to everyone! 🇹🇭🥗“

“To Thai For has been a mainstay of Waialae Ave since before the pandemic. They are family run and the food is excellent. Highly recommended for families and groups: great selection of well made and delicious food, friendly service, and tasty as can be. Our favorites are the pad kee mao and the panang curry. “We've been ordering takeout from Pad Thai for years, and it's still our favorite Thai restaurant on the island.

We almost always order the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. We've tried other dishes too, but those two are so good that we rarely feel like ordering anything else. The portions are generous, and the prices are about what you'd expect compared to other Thai takeout restaurants.

The staff has always been friendly, and after coming here for so many years they know us well. We usually call in our order, and pickup is always quick and easy. The restaurant is clean, and parking is just the normal Salt Lake Shopping Center lot.

Thai food can vary a lot from one restaurant to another. We've tried quite a few places around Oahu, and this is still the one we keep coming back to.

Tables in the dining area are fairly close together. We've never had an issue picking up takeout, but it looks like it could be a little tight if you're using a wheelchair. High chairs are available for babies or toddlers.

We've never really had a bad experience here. If you're looking for good Thai food in the area, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.“

“Chicken laarb tasted okay. The ginger soup tasted really good. The shredded cabbage tasted really appetizing with its soup. I had this ginger soup a few times here, and I liked it every time. It's like a comfort food to me now. I'm just a bit disappointed this time because the meat was really tough. I had to really chew it. I almost choked one time when I just wanted to swallow it already.“

No one was here except us 4 women, it's 5pm too early but, it was pleasant . The hostess was very friendly and she recommended the fried belly pork. We also ordered shrimp with snow peas..pad Thai with chicken .. beef bowl soup.. and of course the fried belly pork it was all delicious!“

The noodles were chewy just how I like it. They have a small self serve sauce bar with chili peppers. There’s a walk up order window outside or you can sit inside where theres about 4-5 small tables. Nice clean and cozy.“

“This great Thai take out place offers all the classics at very reasonable prices in a convenient location. It is located in the food court area just outside of Don Quijote. Their food is all made to order and served up hot and fresh, as well as the operators are very friendly and take your order courteously. I ordered the Tom Kai Gai soup which is similar to the Tom Yum, but with coconut milk and tasty perfectly sizes of sliced chicken breast. I did order it spicy because I like the Thai chili kick, but you can get it mild as well and it will still be flavorful from ginger and kaffir lime leaves. The broth is light, yet very satisfying. I recommend getting a side of jasmine rice to go with it if you aren't getting anything else. One down fall to this location is the common seating area in the food court. Aside from being very busy with customer entering and exiting Don Quijote, there is an over abundance of homeless and crazies hanging out. It doesn't make for a comfortable dining experience if you aren't a bit thick skinned. On a plus note, if open, they do have an inside counter area that can seat about 2. I would definitely go back again as well as recommend this place to others.“

The birria bao taco was a unique twist the bao was soft and fluffy, and it paired surprisingly well with the birria. The birria bomb bites were probably my favourite because they were crispy on the outside, cheesy and juicy inside, and perfect for dipping in the consomme😭🥹 The banana pudding was creamy not overly sweet and the perfect way to finish the meal.“
