They even took extra special care to ask what we were doing next what we have already done our vacation and gave us a list of things that we should check out that were local before we left the island. And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! We have flights and accommodations reserved for a mid-June visit, and our rental house is just a short walk up Kokomo. “The pizza is absolutely fantastic! We've eaten at other locations of theirs on other islands and have never been disappointed. We were happy to see a location close to our Airbnb. They have a super cute patio you can sit out on with tiki torches to add to the “Hawaiian feel”. The only downfall is they don’t currently have their liquor license so you can’t order alcohol of any kind (including beer) but, the BYOB feature is a great option and a way to save money as well!“

“We are shave ice nerds and try shave ice whenever we are in Hawaii. This is in our top 3 across the islands. The mango syrup was incredible. Our coconut one needed a bit more and the gal mentioned even before we took it that we should come back for more syrup if it was dry. They were great. I like ice cream but it wasn't even needed because the ice was so smooth and the syrups so flavorful.“

“My Thai’s atmosphere was different than any restaurant I’ve seen before and seems to be very personality-driven. Matthew was great and greeted us, giving us complimentary water while we waited and mango sticky rice (delicious!) when he learned that we were honeymooners. We also got the orange chicken bao.“

“I was very impressed with this spot. Group had fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, grilled snapper and drinks. Everything was cooked exceptionally well, and such a good price point. Seasoning on the fried items was on point, with the perfect crispness without being dry.

Would highly recommend to those looking for this type of food, as it's a great price point and excellent quality. Note that it's a self seating so it's that kind of place, but we found seats easily (but like everywhere, look out for birds/chickens)“

We wanted vegetarian meals and they helped guide through their menu. We ordered a white pasta and their on-house margarita pizza. It was all delicious. Perfect sized portion for two (any be small for peeps who like to eat well; we like not so heavy dinner).

- mochiko chicken over garlic noodles 7.5/10: chicken was a bit dry... flavor was good though. garlic noodles tasted kinda old and dry as well. still yummy though!
- ramen meh 6/10: too fishy for my liking
- poke 9/10: great quality tuna, slimey and no mush. the sauce was also fire and there were little mochi crackers sprinkled inside. my favorite dish from here by far!
- fish sando 7.5/10 thin cut of fish but tasty. not too flavorful. more bread than fish but still good. bread was buttery.“
