Great Food, But Way Too Loud
The food and service were both excellent — no complaints there. Unfortunately, the live band playing downstairs was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation and had to keep asking our server to repeat himself. Two nearby tables left because of the noise. If you're hoping for a peaceful early dinner, skip the 4:30 PM time during happy hour music. Great restaurant, but the volume ruined the vibe.
Hands down, the best place I’ve ever eaten at! Food was so amazing and the waiter was super friendly and quick with our food. Keep coming back to make sure everything was okay. I can’t wait to come back!
Whale watching having drinks and dinner.

Leilani's on the Beach is a popular dining destination located right on the beach. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including the signature hula pie, although some reviewers noted that the presentation can seem commercial. Owned by the same group as Duke's and Hula Grill, it is considered a good option, but some guests feel Duke's is the better choice for the menu prices. The servers can be busy, which sometimes affects the speed of service, but overall, the experience remains enjoyable, especially for those staying at The Westin, who can receive a free hula pie. Recent reviews highlight the phenomenal views, good food, and drinks, with fish and chips, burgers, tacos, and calamari being favorites among guests. Many customers praise the service as amazing, attentive, and friendly, with some mentioning their servers as among the best they've had while vacationing. The outdoor seating area with live music is a popular feature, making it a great spot for both locals and tourists. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for upstairs seating that offers very nice views, as guests have experienced long wait times without them. Overall, Leilani's remains a well-loved place with good food, a fabulous wait staff, and a lively atmosphere. Recent reviews also mention the delicious sashimi, cocktails, and the crusted ahi steak, highlighting the attentive and friendly staff. Guests often enjoy the live music at sunset, the cold drinks, and the fresh Caesar salad. The fish special plate and filet are cooked perfectly and served hot, with the hula pie being a favorite way to finish the meal. Many visitors say they will always dine here when in Kaanapali.
