“I've been eating sushi for many years and is the best I've ever found. It is so fresh and beyond excellent. The service is great and the chef will make whatever special requests you want. The Hamachi sashimi is amazing and the soft shell hand roll is perfect. My family and I come here again and again. Don't miss it!“

“A hidden gem of a sushi place in Kihei. You might not know it from the location or outside view, but you are stepping into culinary sushi history. Very friendly staff, feels family owned and operated, serving some of the freshest fish I have tried. Simple and to the point menu, but everything is so careful and well prepared that the result is very rewarding to the palate and easy on the wallet.“

“Got the unagi donburi and it was super delicious. Excellent balance in the portions and top notch eel. The salad had a tasty orange dressing that cut through the eel’s fattiness nicely. I’m gunna keep seeking out this place when I’m back at the food truck oasis!“

“We had a great dinner here. The lobster risotto was done perfectly. Compliments to the chef. All the cocktails we tried we liked so much we all had at least two. They had a couple big parties and our waitress took care of us to make sure we got our order in so we didn't have to wait long. The layout and atmosphere is good for a nice night out. Definitely check it out.“

“If you come to Maui this is definitely a place to enjoy a home cooked breakfast or lunch. I’m here from Utah for 7 days and my son took me there. Excellent atmosphere. And the food was delicious at a reasonable price.“

“Tucked away on the corner of Pāʻia, Wabisabi is a cozy spot to stop for lunch or dinner for anyone heading to or from Hāna along the Road to Hāna. Parking along the main street, we walked in and were seated immediately; only a few other parties were eating or came in during our meal.
The hot soba was delicious and well-made, and while the maki rolls may have missed a few points on presentation, the portion size and proportion of fish in each roll is excellent for the price (and may be the best bang-for-buck sushi on Maui).
A meal will run you around $20-25 pre-tip, which - once you get used to typical sit-down restaurant prices on the island - you will find very reasonable. I would wholeheartedly recommend stopping here for one of your meals as you drive up or back the Hāna Highway.“
