“Great shave ice, great portion sizes, great flavors, and you can add ice cream too! The staff is also super friendly and helpful. They have picnic tables and shade which makes it nice to sit and relax. While, we were there they were paving the parking lot so it was very noisy and did not smell the greatest. However, this was not their fault that the atmosphere was not the most appealing.“

“If you're on the North Shore of Kauai this is almost always the only place to go after 9pm. That's not to say you shouldn't go before 9pm, just that it's often your only option. With that said, this place is great. The bar rocks, the staff is quirky but fun, food is solid, drinks are what you want in paradise! Go, enjoy some time at Tiki Iniki and tell the door guy I said Aloha!“

“Great little walk up place! I love mexican food and this spot is awesome because you can choose your own adventure and make whatever- each item as is is vegetarian and you can make vegan by omitting thinfs and adding soyrizo if you’d like! I got the pesto pesto burrito and added the spicy soyrizo and it was GREAT! My boyfriend got the soyrizo tacos and he really enjoyed them! Also a plus this place stays open a bit later than most things around so that’s a win.“
“One of our favorite places to visit on Kauai was Nanea Coffee! The owner Mason and the environment he has created manifest the aloha spirit - welcoming, friendly, warm and spiritual. If you’re in the north shore of Kauai we HIGHLY recommend visiting this place. We went every day - except on Sunday when they were closed. Besides the beautiful location - the coffee, chai and baked goods were so delicious!“

“We happened by their street location in Kapaʻa as we were returning to Princeville for the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1/4 chicken and pork sandwich with sides of chili beans and rice. The next morning we saw the smoke from the barrel cooking chickens for the day, so we stopped by to learn more. We highly recommend this local island favorite!“

“I had to stop myself from getting one of everything because it all looked so so good! So many protein bite options, raw goodies, and lots of tasty looking treats. multiple dairy alternatives to choose from for bevs. I got a little rose pistachio number that melted while i sat outside and while the presentation was ruined- the flavor was not! It was such a delicious floral taste with the pistachio, truly delicious“

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.“

“This is one of the finest fish you will get on the island, no kidding! I got the kealia and the flavors were amazing! Here are a few things that might help you enjoy the food here! For half an hour tell yourself you are spending 30$ to “treat yourself” yes it’s expensive! Also tell yourself that it’s ok and you will recover from this!! Next up be ready for getting handed a smaller looking bowl for 30$, but if you are under 200lbs person, this quantity is good enough to satisfy you!! It’s not a big lunch but it is not too small either, you will know once you have eaten it!! Lastly when you go to pick your food ask for two packets of soy sauce, trust me you need two, women at counter might hand you just one, be ready to ask for another and then ask for a chilli sauce too(it’s up to you if you add it or not) but get it!! Now, do a taste test!! Do you like the flavors!! Yes yumm! Now add one packet of soy and taste again!! Ohh yeah it is soo good! But wait add the last packet of soy and a little bit of chilli sauce!! Heaven!! You are welcome!! After a couple of hours!! There will be a smile of satisfaction on your face, and you will know that it’s 30 bucks spent well!! Cheers“

“I love this place! We tried the Sexy baby maker, Mango Parfait(my favorite!) and 3 of their shots - ginger, immunity and mile high. I liked the ginger, the other two tasted awful.
What I love the most is that this place gives a credit towards your next purchase when you return the glass bottles, cleaned! I returned 5 of the containers we had and received a credit of 1.25$ - while it may not be much, I was happy I wasn’t contributing to more garbage on an island!
This place is a must try if you’re on Kauai!“

“Great spot for some shaved ice. It's conveniently located in the middle of the plaza within hanalei and makes for a great dessert place after dining. Tried the tropical breeze and really enjoyed it. There is vanilla ice cream with macadamia nut at the bottom that u gotta work to get to but it's great.“

“Organic local flavors. Delicious. Out of the way but worth it. Order around back. Choice from traditional flavors to exotic. Just a few one lane bridges past Hanalei. Only notice would be no cell service up this far. Hope they leave it that way.“

“What an awesome coffee shop and bakery. We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday and it was packed, as expected. We waited around 15-20 minutes in line to order and another 10 minutes for our food. Totally worth the wait. Brekkie sandwich and ham and egg croissant were delicious, coffee and tea were great. We ordered a chocolate croissant to share and it did not disappoint. We had to be a little eagle eyed for a table, but were able to grab one that someone had just vacated right before we ordered. Island breeze in the late morning was perfect, lots of families and locals milling about. The Hanalei Market is a two minute walk down the sidewalk with lots of shops to visit nearby as well as the Ching Young Center across the street. Not a super extensive menu but plenty of other items we'd love to come back and try!
Parking: Free lot parking nearby and free street parking across the street as well as nearby“

“This was so good we came back the next day for more!! Hands down the best Thai food we’ve ever had. Try the mango sticky rice for dessert - gooey, sweet and warm; the ultimate comfort food.
Dietary restrictions: Almost everything is gluten-free, and I have celiac so have to be very careful. They are GF knowledgeable and friendly. Lovely owners!“

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“

“Their authentic Japanese ramen bowls are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We had the ramen with pork belly and they were delicious. They have lots of fun and yummy appetizers, our favorites were the bao buns and the brussel sprouts. The atmosphere is great and I highly recommend a reservation because the wait can be quite long.“

“It's a decent fast-food Hawaiian BBQ joint. We probably could've gotten better food in the area, but even these guys were 20-30 minutes from entering line to getting food while everyone else was an hour at least. Limited seating on old picnic tables that need some attention.“

“Did we make a wrong turn?...keep going...it says Dead End...keep going...that tiny place?... THAT'S IT! And what a find. The most cheerful staff, amazing food, and a surprising view of river, ocean, and mountains. Worth the stop. Mahalo!
Dietary restrictions: Many GF main items
Parking: Tight but plenty
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor picnic table seating. Not fancy.
Wheelchair accessibility: All outdoors.“
