“This is a charming location in converted old gas station. We each had a 24 oz smoothie (coconut, mango, and a couple of mixed combinations) to start while waiting for our food outside on a picnic bench. The food was one of the best we’ve had on the islands: Kahlua pork, Kalbi ribs, Teriyaki chicken, Furikake Ahi, squid luau, fresh caught fish, fish tacos, macaroni salad, tossed salad and coconut cake with pineapple for dessert. Highly recommended!“

“So it’s like this… Kua ‘Aina Sandwich Shop has got to be the best burger for the job if you’re hungry amidst shopping for all the great gift ideas!! Bacon burger with all the fixings and also with the green chili Tabasco is mayjah and it scratches the itch every time. Really good as a medium rare burger. So juicy!! One of my favs!! Kudos!!“

“Everytime me my mom and my grandma go out to go food shopping we make it a ritual to stop here to grab drinks . And it’s never a disappointment at all , the drinks taste amazing and the workers here are always friendly . I go to either the wahiawa location or the Mililani one inside of times . This place is the greatest place to grab your drinks on a hot day or even on a normal day!! I recommend everything on the menu, but if you had to ask which one I would order constantly is the strawberry lilikoi lemonade with boba or lychee jelly ^_^“

“Stopped for an early lunch on a Thursday. Very fortunate that there was parking, because after we pulled in the two other spots filled up instantly. Not to knock the service at this location, but I believe future orders will be take-out. Besides, when you eat at home you can just let the food coma knock you out, as opposed to fighting it on the drive home from the restaurant.

We started with the guacamole and chips. It seemed a little unusual that it was served in a take out bowl, but upon reflection this makes perfect sense. We didn't finish it, and it easily packed up to go with us. Also, it was a nice chunky style that we liked very much.

I ordered the 3 carne asada (steak) street tacos. Awesome.

My wife ordered the carnitas (pork) Barrio burrito. Going to order this the next time.

My mother-in-law and grandmother both had shrimp Barrio burritos. They didn't share.

Everyone raved about the food. Service was top notch, with the waitress stopping by often to check our water, quality of food. When we finished up we also ordered some things to go.

“This place is absolutely amazing! The food is always top-notch, the workers are always incredibly friendly. The store manager, Jacinda, has even published a coloring book, which kept my daughter entertained while we waited for our hot food. The banana bread is super delicious, and I couldn’t resist adding a scoop of vanilla gelato on the side. It was the perfect combo! This has quickly became my favorite brunch spot. One issue, they need new chairs. Some of the most uncomfortable ever. Hard wood ladder back like I grew up with but at least they had cushions.“

It was around 4 on a Friday and not too busy and our server was very nice but not on top of things- our food came out super fast and I had to ask where our drinks were, she had forgotten, but she brought them right out once I asked. Aloha time I suppose, nbd but would have been nice to enjoy my drink before the food arrived. But she was okay after that and very sweet. We just ordered off the happy hour menu and had sliders, pot stickers and garlic shrimp- all very good but the garlic shrimp was AMAZING!!! We were talking about it for two days after! Would highly recommend coming here for happy hour and ordering a garlic shrimp per person- it’s a full meal- our only regret was not ordering two.“

The Cove also has nice jewelry and home goods. Beware that Google Maps may take you to the wrong place, so it's a good idea to input an address for the taco truck next door.“

“Nui is a friendly and she can cook. Great food, good service, and dog friendly. Nui will tell you all about her (3) 100 lb. labrador fur babies.
This place has some good pad Kee mau, panang curry, and spring rolls. We will be going back again and bringing our fur babies with us.

“My husband and I Read about this place through the support 808 page and saw they offered porkroll and scrapple. For a born and raised South Jersey girl, finding those on this island is heaven! We ordered a couple of Hoagies for lunch and porkroll and scrapple and pickles too! Definitely a place we will be often! Reminds me of a good stop to take hoagies to go when going down the shore! Thank you for the bottom on my heart for sharing a taste of home! The Hoagies were exactly right for East Coast sub shop! I almost went back to get pizza for dinner too!“
