Only caveat was that one of us was brought tater tots which weren’t ordered and then were charged extra for them. Were also helped after folks who arrived after we did. Meant their food came before ours.“

“I stopped in for a butterfly effect tea. It is a healing tea for stress, anxiety and endurance. It starts off blue and then add the lemon and it turns purple. I love the heart shaped ice made of the tea so it doesnt get watered down & lasts longer. I like mine plain no agave or sweetener. I enjoyed looking at the historical pictures during my short wait. The service is true Aloha. Absolutely worth the drive out to Makaha. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!“

“I only found out about Wai Kai a month ago after a friend bought a condo nearby. Since that time, my family and I have been back numerous times to eat at all of their restaurants and attend their Farmer's market. All of the food is outstanding which is why we even went back twice in one day to eat at 2 of their restaurants. They have amazing staff from their manager, Keith, their cooks, and their waiters and waitresses. This place is a hidden gem because it's a family friendly place that has the atmosphere of Waikiki without the crime or crowds. Both kids and adults can come and have a great time whether it's doing a water sport, eating in one of their excellent restaurants, or relaxing on their lawn during the Farmer's market where they have a wide variety of food and local products to choose from.“

“It’s a cool vibe and the staff are really sweet. I got Lui Hing mango smoothie and Brown sugar milk boba. Both were very sweet. The brown sugar melted the ice so it was kind of warm. If you don’t like super sweet, make sure you ask for half sweetness.“

Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.“

“I stumbled upon this catfe (get it? So cute!) when I needed to use the bathroom one day on my way to Mokulē’ia and it was such a great discovery! First, they have a nice extensive menu with caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, sweet and savory food, and bagged snacks. Their caffeinated drinks are not too sweet and I’m thrilled about that. To play with cats, it is $20 for an hour + a free drink and it’s honestly such a good deal! The cats are SOO cute and friendly, and I can’t wait to meet the new kittens that are coming in.
The owners (who also work there), Angela, Jason, and their daughter are all so sweet. I have already brought a cat-lover friend to visit, and can’t wait to make this a regular stop when I’m on my way to Mokulē’ia!“

“I was at Best Buy for a while before learning I'd be waiting for techs to personalize my purchase which could've taken up to 4.5 for them to get to. Supervisor Alondra suggested I go to a Saimen place, La Tour & another place. I walked over and into La tour. The menu looked great! I saw a roast beef dip sandwich I may have chosen but when I saw a "Falafel" sandwich I was very intrigued as I never saw this on any menu at a casual restaurant in Waikiki area. OMG...that sandwich was 😍 unexpectedly⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive! 😋😋 It had noodle shaped crisp (white color) pieces of pickled turnip ( I think that's what it tasted like- please confirm or correct me?) and same shaped carrots, a perfect amount of tasty-sweet & slighty spicy sauce on a outer layer of thin crisp (perhaps it was slightly toasted?) but soft inside, square edged sub roll? I still have a little over 1/2 left! Love Falafels but am used used to the normal style of it served with a cool creamy sauce (maybe cucumber) in a toasted Pita bread. This seemed like an Asian style spin off! If they deliver in Waiks, I will likely order it again as it's Too far/expensive via car to travel there. The cold brew coffee was good also and I tried "Oat creamer" for the 1st time and liked it! Thank you ladies for the very friendly service 😊 ( I was a host at CF for almost 9yrs,😉 and also trained many hosts.) and it was my first time ever "Eating in Public" (as it also wasn't a planned adventure) and taking off my mask. People were over 10 ft away and 12 feet away from my table. more people did line up for take out as I stayed for at least an hour until almost 4pm-ish.“

It's a little crowded in the place, but my drink was amazingly delicious so it made up for the cramped space. By the way, the drink was better outdoor anyway.“
