“Aji Ramen is a true gem that every ramen lover must visit! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

Now, let’s talk about the food! The portions are huge, and the ramen here is simply amazing! Each bowl is a perfect harmony of rich, flavorful broth, impeccably cooked noodles, and fresh toppings. Every slurp was a delightful experience that kept me wanting more.
The fried noodles, too, were outstanding – crispy, savory, and just the right amount of satisfying.

But what truly stole the show for me were the crab and cream cheese puffs. I can confidently say they are the best I've encountered at any restaurant in Hawaii! These puffs are incredibly light, bursting with creamy goodness, and filled with a perfect blend of tender crab meat. They are truly a must-try!

“Picked up take out lunch plates. They were delicious and a lot of food. The service is fast and fresh (made while you wait). I had chicken teriyaki with rice with salad. Very Good! Great place to go if you are looking for good food at a resonable price.“

“The location is nice as it is not crowded. The service is nice and fast. Food is great for its price. We got the combo set and servings are huge! You can share the set combo.

The shoyu ramen is okay. The gyoza is nice and they serve a lot per order. The spam curry is okay as well. I recommend the mixed fried rice and the mochiko chicken. They’re perfect!

“My favorite place to get freshly made Pansit, Miki soup noddles, and Won Ton Wrappers. They also make various noodles and wraps such as Chow mein, Chow funn, Saimin, Mandoo wrap, Udon, Suimai wrap, and their new: Kaigushu noddles. Each items are fairly priced per pound. Recommend coming here for freshly made noddles/wraps.“

“This is a great traditional local store we've been going for a long time. We already have our regular orders, but most foods here are good and very affordable. Nice and attentive staff. The place does get hot inside and there is no AC.

Kid-friendliness: There is one high chair inside. No keiki menu. They usually bring smaller water cups for keiki.“

“Almost like a hole-in-the-wall kinda shop, menu is very similar to Da Ichi Ramen but with more variety. Stopped by here for an after work dinner & enjoyed our meal. Parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED and we almost left because of it.

Servers are always friendly & dote on you. Food is really good, I love Ramen & this was closer than driving to Pearl City for Da Ichi. Portions are great! Got the Special Combo with Ramen, adding shrimp katsu and beef fried rice for my side. Was able to sub out the pork fried rice 😏. Oh and they also got chicken wings that are worth it, so yay!

Overall, pretty good place. My katsu shrimp was a bit overcooked and crunchy but the gyoza and chicken katsu confirmed that they're worth it.

Parking: Parking is tight and limited in front of the building. Then again it's Hawaii, parking lots are not the best.“

“We came on a whim and luckily we did. Everything from the bahn mi to the phõ selection was delicious and they have a huge vegetarian selection. I would definitely come back if in the area again. Service was excellent as well and there's lots of parking given it's in the shopping mall area.“

“Located upstairs of Pearl Ridge Center Mall. We decided to eat here when we saw it while shopping since we haven’t had Yunnan Rice Noodles for many years. This is a more modern version of Yunnan’s stable with a very nice presentation and an easy way to order your options. We both got the bone base soup with fatty beef. The flavoring wasn’t overpowering and it was quite tasty. With 8 or 9 small dishes of ingredients all mixed together with the soup and the rice noodles, it was delightful. We also ordered the deep fried dumplings, which were okay, but not that good and tasted like grilled instead of deep fried. So I would not recommend getting the dumplings. The service was excellent and friendly. If you never have had yin a rice noodles, then you should stop by this place to check it out.

“Siam Garden Cafe holds a special place in my heart as my favorite spot from when I was stationed in Hawaii over 10 years ago, and it’s just as incredible as I remember.

I order the Jungle Curry, prepared medium with chicken, and Sticky Rice. It is vibrant and packed with flavor—the perfect blend of coconut milk, carrots, cabbage, lime leaf, and basil made for an incredibly smooth and comforting dish. I wish I knew the recipe because I haven’t been able to find Jungle Curry, or any Curry for that matter, that comes anywhere close.

Consistently delivers authentic, flavorful dishes that transport me back in time. If you’re in Hawaii and craving Thai cuisine, this spot is an absolute must-visit!“

“Smaller neighborhood favorite restaurant. This shopping center is always busy so parking is hard to find you should call ahead for takeout because everything is made fresh and they're always busy. They have two benches that run along the length of the restaurant with tables at seat four at a time if you get takeout, I recommend reheating the soup so it's hot hot and can cook your raw steak. I love to mix hoisin sauce and Sriracha into my broth to enhance the flavors to my liking. The broth alone is very clean and flavorful.

Vegetarian options: Few options: Veggie pho and veggie rolls, plus i think the dessert and drinks are veggie.

Parking: Lots of businesses use this parking lot and there's often cars circling.

Kid-friendliness: There is no kid menu if you order a small there will be definitely leftovers.“

“Great chop steak, and my wife's fried min was fabulous. Had soup and sandwich. Hadn't been here for a while. Was in the area and de died to eat here because it's one of my favorite places. Cathy took real good care of us. It's always a pleasure. This time, we went for breakfast, and we had the Tanaka's special. It's 3 egg omlete with bacon, tomato, onions, mushrooms, and spinach. I highly recommend it.

“My husband and I spent 24 hours in Honolulu and discovered this wonderful Thai Bistro! The service was very friendly and attentive to our preferences. We ordered spring rolls, brown rice, Penang chicken curry, and green curried chicken. Oh, the flavors were perfectly blended! It’s the best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. “Ha Long Pho is one of my "go to" stops when I'm home...and as always, the ono grindz did not disappoint!!! Summer Rolls: Very large!!! I don't remember them being as full as they were today...not sure if it was a mistake, or a new recipe. As I remember it was so fresh filled with crispy veggies!!! Definitely a 10/10!!! Seafood Pho: When it's an option, I always order seafood Pho! For those of you who know how to eat Pho, you know that beef broth is a must, no matter what style Pho you order. Most places I have to ask for beef broth as it often comes with a vegetable broth...but here, it automatically comes with beef broth. And the seafood was not chewy. I would have loved to see some other seafood represented (it only had fishcake balls and shrimp) but it didn't take away from the healthy portion and umami flavor!!! 9/10 (Only because of the variety of seafood.) COVID Protocols: I felt very comfortable at Ha Long Pho, they require proof of vaccine, or negative COVID test, to enter...and...instead of your spices being left on the table, they are pulled after each guest, I can only assume to sanitize before the next guest uses it. 10/10 for sanitation and safety!!!“

“We moved back to Hawaii after six years in Southern Mexico. We were craving every food but tacos. After being away from Hawaii for so long, the prices made our jaws drop. Some of my favorites had closed. We walked by Liu’s Several times. There are many choices in the plaza. We finally went a few weeks ago...we have been back two more times. The food is great, prices even better and the owners are very kind and efficient. The ambiance does not matter to us. We love everything about this place..going again Tuesday to feed a party. “More value for money! Awesome food, big savory portions! It’s also a family-friendly place! They recently added toys and a stuff toy vending machine for the little ones. If you are dining in, the ambiance is cozy, they have their own restroom. Tables are big and can accomodate bigger groups if needed. I always order from them either from Uber Eats or in-person at the restaurant for dine-in or take out! Staff is very friendly! I love going to this restaurant. It’s also close to Long’s and Foodland so if you have errands to run, everything is in one location! :)“

“Service here is to notch, always a smile, and very helpful. Many businesses can learn from these people how to treat customers. Parking can be tough at times depending on the size of your vehicle be aware. Come early to make sure your favorite foods are available. Everything is made fresh and delicious. Be patient. The line can be long, but no worries, it moves fast. I always try to get my childhood favorite, layered rice cake.“

“Decided to explore something new in the area and stumbled upon this excellent establishment. Visited post-lunch hours, so it wasn't overly crowded. A down-to-earth restaurant offering delightful katsu curries and ramen. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. We tried the spam, chicken, and shrimp katsu curries, all delicious, though the crunch was a bit hard. The combo sets are a great choice; we went for Combo A. The fried rice and mini ramen were spot on. If you crave ramen or curry, this spot is a must-try.“
